New Cannibal Song

A mini review of the new Cannibal Corpse song "Sadistic Embodiment"
1Cannibal Corpse
Kill

So a few days ago Cannibal Corpse released a new song called "Sadistic
Embodiment" from their upcoming album "A Skeletal Domain". The song is very
typical Cannibal. It starts out with a brief instrumental intro then the main riff kicks
off and George's vocals come in shortly there after. The guitar, bass and drums all
work together to make a frantic, heavy feel throughout. The song is fast and heavy in both the verse and chorus. There is a
bridge in the song around the 2 minute mark that builds nicely into a well done guitar solo. The guitar work on this
song is solid as usual along with the bass, which retains that classic Cannibal sound (Cannibal Corpse keeps the bass
louder in the mix than most death metal bands if you aren't familiar with the band). George's vocals sound pretty solid
throughout the track but nothing too special. This is a solid release by Cannibal and has me excited for their new album
due out September 16th. 4/5
