Top Fifty Of Twenty Fourteen

Top Fifty of the year. Many are local bands, I encourage you to check them out.
50 Outlook (SD)
Wearing Thin

Great single from a promising band-outlooksd.bandcamp.com

Great show, good album.
48Cursed Graves
Western Blood

Great 'noisepunk' band from my hometown.
47New Found Glory

Haven't listened to these guys in forever, but liked this record moderately.
Oh, Common Life

Doesn't pack as big a punch as previous releases but great nonetheless.
45Losing Streak

Great pop punk debut, great vocals to boot.

They keep getting better and better.

RIP once again.
42Masked Intruder

Fun just because.
41My Iron Lung

Great show, great dudes, great album.
40Front Porch Step
Whole Again

Such great lyrics, a bit repetitive however.
All In My Head

Some songs are poorly written but i can't help but get into it.

Not as powerful as LP2 but still a great listen.
37 Being As An Ocean
How We Both Wonderously Perish

Great show, great album.

Enjoyable power pop album.
Home Alone

Fantastic ambient/instrumental record.
34Hostage Calm
Die On Stage

33Gerard Way
Hesitant Alien

Surprisingly enjoyable album.
32Such Gold
The New Sidewalk

Really explored the mathy elements of their sound and made a highly entertaining album.
31Forever Came Calling
What Matters Most

Overproduced and overly cheesy at times, but still some songs for diehard fans of Contender.
30Neck Deep
Wishful Thinking

Nothing too special here, but i love the first few tracks.
29The Story So Far
Songs Of

Contrary to popular opinion, this ep was very enjoyable for me.
28 Major League
There's Nothing Wrong With Me

Standard pop punk fare, a readily accepted record to change up the standard rotation however.
27Real Friends
Maybe This Place Is The Same...

Alot of the same, but some standout tracks make this relatively enjoyable for me.
26Such A Mess
Good Intentions Giving Way

Super fun album with excellent instrumentals and melodies.
25The Rebound
Diary of a Tin Man

Local band, not the best pop punk, but fun and catchy none the less. therebound.bandcamp.com
24 Joyce Manor
While I Stay Secluded

First introduction to this band, love this album.
23Trophy Eyes
Mend, Move On

Great blend of hardcore and pop punk.
22Four Year Strong
Go Down In History

Surprisingly great.

where did these guys come out of?
20 Dads
I'll Be The Tornado

A bit of a change in sound, but that's not a bad thing.
19Tiny Moving Parts
Pleasant Living

Not a bad release from these guys.
18Have Mercy
A Place Of Our Own

Saw these guys live and they blew me away. Such a great voice.
17I Am The Avalanche

Great punk release.
16Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties
We Don't Have Each Other

So good.
Everything Will Be Alright In The End

Classic Weezy.
14Against Me!
Transgender Dysphoria Blues

Horrid production but great, personal songs.
13Little Heroine
Little Heroine

Another local band, these songs are so well composed and filled with emotion, i can't stop listening to it. littleheroine.bandcamp.com
12I Am The Conqueror

Local band filled with great dudes. Fun, short pop punk EP. Iamthec.bandcamp.com
11Say Anything

Definitely a bit weirder than the rest of his work, but i love all the guests and Six Six Six is incredibly well written.
Pond Music

Someone on here recommended this EP to me and it blew me away. portageband.bandcamp.com
9Sorority Noise

Great indie jams, hope to see them live sometime soon.
Temple of Plenty

Great new emo band, great production and lyrics.
7Banner Pilot

Absolutely amazing album from the best in modern punk.
6Knuckle Puck
While I Stay Secluded

Fantastic new EP from the latest up and coming Pop Punk band.
5The Menzingers
Rented World

Not as good as 'impossible' but still has some classic songs.
4 You Blew It!
Keep Doing What You're Doing

YBI went for a definite switch from twinkly emo music to power chord driven midwestern emo/punk. Love the new song and this album kicks ass.
3The Hotelier
Home, Like NoPlace is There

So overrated but lives up to it. Raw, unkempt emotion.

Not one bad song on this album. They elevated the heavy song that showed up slightly in Resolve and made an absolute beast of an album.
1Scarlett Avenue
- On The Mend -

Well written, thought out pop punk songs. Incredible lyrics. Scarlettavenueca.bandcamp.com
