My Top 5 Death Metal Albums

What are your guys top 5 albums in Death Metal?

Favorite Band, Favorite Album. This album runs for over an hour although it is only 5 songs. The mixture of Black Metal, Death Metal, and Folk just clicks for me.
2Edge of Sanity
Purgatory Afterglow

Dan Swano know how to make guitar riffs that rock while still making them heavy as hell. His growling style is very similar to Mikael of Opeth's, but Dan has at bit lower of a singing register.
Brave Murder Day

The album that made me get into Doom metal and love the subgenre Doom/Death. It is a shame that their sound did not continue like this, because their later efforts have never reached the quality of this release.

Jazz-Fusion and Death? I started to listen to Jazz-Fusion because of this album, and that opened me up to a lot of different kinds of melodies.
5In Flames
The Jester Race

Melodic Death Metal was at one time the only form of metal with growling vocals I could tolerate. In Flames was my gateway to heavier bands and gave me the ability to appreciate the contrast of heavy and light melodies.
