Danred97 02.22.17	I'd probably agree with you, but I haven't decided on what rating to give Scaterd Few yet. Living Sacrifice is the most consistent band on the list for sure though.

Emim 02.22.17	Well for starters, all of Living Sacrifice's albums from Reborn forward are worth listening to. Galactic Cowboys Extol Zao Phinehas Believer Theocracy As Cities Burn The Chariot Norma Jean Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Once Nothing Spoken Project 86 Called to Arms Woe of Tyrants Becoming the Archetype Most of those tend towards the heavier end of the spectrum.
Danred97 02.22.17	I've heard/like most of these. As Cities burn is one of my favorite bands ever. I love Zao, Phinehas, Norma Jean, and Project 86 is okay. I'll check the rest at some point. BTA has my attention at the moment for some reason.

Emim 02.22.17	That's the one. The song Worlds Apart is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Masochist 02.22.17	Oh...Starflyer 59 albums. That's hard, they have 14 of them, and soooo many good ones. 'Silver' is their first one, straight heavy, grungy shoegaze like Catherine Wheel. Listen to "Sled" or "Monterey" to get a feel of that album. 'Gold' is the same sound, but much slower. 'Americana' has one of their best songs in "The Voyager," but ultimately I think 'Silver' and 'Gold' are better. Then you get to 'The Fashion Focus', 'Everyone Makes Mistakes' and 'Leave Here A Stranger', which I think is the peak of their shoegazing sound--not near as heavy as it was with the first three, like if 'Loveless' and 'Slanted and Enchanted' had a baby. If you pick up any of these albums, you probably won't be disappointed, but I might give the nod to 'The Fashion Focus' if you reaaaaally wanted me to choose one.

I don't know if you were plainly sticking to 90's stuff, but these are not: My Epic - 'Yet' Stretch Arm Strong - 'A Revolution Transmission' (I don't actually know if they're Christian, though) Cool Hand Luke - Any of their last four albums Showbread - 'No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical' Watashi Wa - 'Eager Seas' or 'The Love of Life'

Danred97 02.22.17	Loved dc talk in middle school. Mxpx isn't really my thing. Pedro's IHTFAF is one of my favorite albums of all time. Not a track that isn't absolutely perfect.
AtomicWaste 02.22.17	So Long Forgotten Listen to Beneath Our Noble Heads and s/t from last year Beneath Our Noble Heads is pretty Christian, but not in an obnoxious way. The band all but confirmed they gave up religion prior to the release of the s/t (which is their last album). Things We Can See is also very Christian, but not all that great.

Emim - mwY is my favorite band of all time. Needtobreath is aight. Geezers 1989 - thanks for the recs. Some of this sounds sweet. Emery is a personal fave.
bloc 02.22.17	Falling Up starts off slightly nu-metal but with every album they get more alt rock and proggy so it's worth checking out their later albums I think
