Been Here For A Year I Guess

So, I found an old post of mine from last March on my old account, but that was after I had 1,000+ comments on that bad boy. So, I guess I've probably been here for like a year and a half. I know, I'm such a great user, blending into the background and making stupid comments.rList is starting taste here to where I'm at now.
1A Burning Water
We Can See the Sky From Here

I remember reviewing these guys. Man, that review sucked. My first review on the site, sucky or somewhat decent. I haven't pumped out as many recently. I should start again, as my writing technique has improved slightly this year. This was the chief make up of my tastes back when I joined.
2Have a Nice Life
Deathconsciousness

I actually found them on Youtube (what a surprise... Where I find all my music somehow.), but wouldn't have really delved into them as deeply were it not for the reviews for this masterpiece on the site. From here, I started getting into some different stuff, and my friends loathe my tastes to this day. Still one of my favorite albums.
3The Angelic Process
Weighing Souls with Sand

I guess PillowsWantYourSoul got me into these guys. I don't really remember. I just know I hadn't heard of them before Sputnik. I listen to them heavily on a regular basis, such a good band.
4All the Empires of the World
Old Gods, Old Worlds, Old Wounds

I've come to love ATEOTW due to their consistent releases, which have grown more ingenious over time. St. Peter has certainly found itself to be one of my most played songs as of late. Were it not for this website, I never would've happened upon them.
5Tiago Benzinho
Roses of Time I

I've come to believe that I'll slowly revert to music which relies heavily on classical influences and minimalism. As I grow more introverted and wary of society, I'm starting to find that more minimalistic compositions allow me to better think- which is what I use music for in the first place. This album's beautiful. I'm still the only one on the site that's rated it, I highly suggest it if you're into ambient, classical, or minimalism. This is kind of where I'm at now, I suppose; mixed with everything else I listen to.
