Stuff I Recently Discovered

I've been digging into the archives of music lately, and these are the albums I've found.
1Thrice
The Illusion of Safety

For a while, I've heard of Thrice, but never really listened to their stuff, but today, I dug into their stuff, and found a truly astonishing post-hardcore album. Metalcore? Ppphhh...Thrice owns every metalcore band, hands down.
2Miser
Colors

This band's unique infusion of modern hard rock with whining, droning Evans Blue-like vocals mixed with the underground, indie charm they feature makes Colors a truly astonishing hard rock album.
3Dinosaur Jr
Bug

Another band that I've heard about, but never really dug into except lately, and it was one of the best decisions I've made in a while. Their unique, droning grunge riffs, lo-fi sound, and 'loud' appeal makes this album, no this band, truly incredible.
4A Perfect Circle
Thirteenth Step

Being the huge Tool fan that I am, I was shocked that I had not actually listened to an A Perfect Circle album outside of the singles Weak & Powerless and The Outsider, but once I did, I found a unique, yet heavy, and catchy alternative rock album.
5DragonForce
Sonic Firestorm

I've never actually listened to a Power Metal before this album, Sonic Firestorm. I was presently surprised once I listened to DragonForce's magnum opus, as its Buckethead-like guitar riffs, thrash-like drum patterns, and inspiring vocals makes DragonForce a truly unique Power Metal band.
