Songs I Can't Get Enough Of
recs welcome |
1 | Apollo Brown God's Creation
This is the song I listen to when I study. It's a beautiful beat, and it's also the most played song in my library. Very chill stuff. |
2 | Balam Acab Apart
The vocal loop in this song is so mezmerizing and beautiful, I often find myself listening to this right before I go to sleep. One of the most
hauntingly beautiful songs I've ever heard. |
3 | Washed Out Feel It All Around
Same reason as #2 but I wouldn't describe it as beautiful, more like a relaxed, natural flow to the song, and it works fantastically. |
4 | Skrillex Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites
I know I'm going to get alot of hate for including this, but I just love this song. From the eerie synth loop at the beginning to the beautifully strange backwards vocal sample. I love it. |
5 | Skindred Warning
Fantastic hard rock. When he shouts 'Warning!' multiple times, it's so intense and agressive its not possible to not headbang while listening to it, plus, it's a nice bonus that the lead singer of Buckcherry's guest vocals on this song don't completely ruin it either. It's crunchy. |
6 | Ricky Eat Acid Luvin' U
Possibly one of the catchiest synth loops ever written. It's beautiful, and a great soundtrack for walking alone at night. It's the second most plated song in my library. |
7 | Document One Clap
The song as a whole kind of drags on, but when the bass drop or breakdown (I don't know what it's called, but you know what I'm talking about) happens, it's so full of energy, and sounds amazing. Definitely on of my choice dubstep tunes. |
8 | CKY 96 Quite Bitter Beings
To be quite frank, I don't really like this song. The only reason I'm including it, is because the main riff to this song is simply one of, if not the best riffs of all time in my opinion. The riff makes the song worth listening to alone. |
9 | Circle Jerks Red Tape
This band perfected the 80's hardcore punk sound, and this song is a prime example. Clocking in at less than a minute, it still manages to throw in a memorable song, as well as some of the best drumming I've heard in quite a long time. |
10 | The Bunny The Bear Lust Touch Seed
I'm neutral about this band, but the experimentation on this song is so intriguing to me. I love the mix of piano and synth with the chorus melody over top. I find myself singing this quite a bit. |
11 | Battle Pig Bulldozer
Quite simply one of the heaviest songs I've ever heard. It's in no way superb, but the sheer brutality and energy it packs makes this my default headbanging song. |
12 | Ballyhoo! Diamonds
Diamonds is possibly one of the catchiest songs ever, from the opening guitar lick, to the chorus, it's reggae perfection. Although the lyrics are a bit cliche. |
13 | Mew 156
For some of the songs in which I've stated the beauty within, forget about those. This song is the definition of beauty. Everything about this song is perfect, andit contains one of the most energetic and memorable choruses of all time. |
14 | Emil Bulls Epiphany
Much like Warning, this is a great heavy rock song with a fantastically written chorus that flows flawlessly. I can understand if most people won't like his, but I absolutely love it. Haters gonna hate. |
15 | Pepper Drunk Girl
Quite similar to Diamonds, but faster and more energetic. The pre-chorus and the build up it creates is phenomenal, and so is the payoff. Another great reggae song from a great reggae band. |
