Hocmat 06.26.11	I'm also a dishwasher, and I work with ghetto ass people. I think I' rather listen to Linkin Park (but not christian rock) than Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, Drake, Lil Wayne, ect. that I'm forced to listen to.
AfterTheBreakdown 06.26.11	I Cook and Dishwash at a resturant. Both jobs suck.
Acanthus 06.26.11	If I get in before the cook, or if I am the cook, I obviously get the CD player. One those days the time goes by so quickly, I listen to stuff that's upbeat (think 1-4). But if I'm not there first the other get it, and I have to listen to whatever they feel like aka top 40 hits, rap, pop, christian rock, etc. 3 is insanely good!

Acanthus 06.26.11	Sounds like a cool place, I didn't have a job for a year so I jumped at this one but it's starting to become apparent that I won't be able to stay here for very much longer.
wabbit 06.26.11	I have spend the past 2 months being half time special needs tutor and half time custodian at an elementary school. So 10 hour days but you only really get 8 hours pay. Working with the kids was rewarding and fun and stuff (especially seeing one guy graduate) but it is really exhausting and I like the empathy that my co-workings have (that makes me sound like a bad person but it is true)...then cleaning shit off the floor is not fun at all.
IrishJay91 06.26.11	had an internship last summer. desk job in a corporate office, where I almost never had any work to do. easy money, but incredibly boring. didn't find out hulu wasn't blocked til the last week. ended up trying to follow the world cup on wikipedia for half the summer. that boredom led to me finding this site though, which is cool. have this summer off.

Acanthus 06.27.11	"It's time to go back to school." I've been in it the entire time sadly. I do admit my appearance causes an issue for most places though (peircings, mohawk, etc).
BallsToTheWall 06.27.11	I make out pretty good as a stocker/food-runner/buser hybrid but the long hours into the AM sucks. However, being able to drink on the job is fun. My chefs gave me 4 Coronas last night, chugged three before heading back out to bus at 11.

Acanthus 06.27.11	Lol Countess I actually have considered it, though the closest I'll go is buying my friends favorite brand to keep on hand when they need one. @Balls yeah when I turn 21 I'll get that at the new place if I get on there.
BallsToTheWall 06.27.11	Where I work at is mostly dudes but that allows us to swear and talk shit to each other incessantly. Call each other mutts,wops,micks, etc.

Acanthus 06.27.11	Where I want to work at is that way, they only hire friends/people they know work hard. Also getting high is allowed on clock, though it doesn't matter to me the others love it.
Acanthus 06.27.11	@Countess - it reminds me of growing up and of bars, concerts, events like that. I feel for the people who know that their habit is hurting their health but still do it, it's an iconic hobby.

Sanders 06.27.11	I worked on a hospital ward with shitty, retarded nurses and elderly patients who would shit everywhere, on their way to the toilets, on the way back from the toilets. Everywhere but on the toilet. And they'd take their cannulas out so they bled everywhere too. That was wank.
