05.13.11 | It's been a while since I last listened to any of their albums pre Black Gives Way to Blue, but I remember Dirt being my favorite followed by Facelift.
Black Gives Way To Blue was a great comeback, but there weren't enough rougher lead vocals on it; It was mostly just the smoother vocals from Jerry Cantrell, except for the track Last of my kind. (editing caused my double spacing to disappear; sorry for the clutter)
