witchxrapist 05.10.11	Yeah, I was thinking list needs TRC, Whisteria Cottage, Embrace The End, and Glass Casket after I clicked submit, but I don't really care enough. I think you should give Despised Icon more chances, because for some people they just need a lot of listens to click (myself for example)... Despised Icon is in reality one of the most interesting/talented bands in the genre. 8 is Acacia Strain worship, and 9 is post hardcore influenced deathcore, both are from my town.

Also Hate Malice Revenge needs more love on sputnik. I remember getting that from bestbuy in my earlier years. Laid To Rest is just so good.

witchxrapist 05.11.11	Uhhh.... metalcore + hardcore... would still be metalcore? Deathcore is basically death metal with breakdowns like The Acacia Strain and Through The Eyes Of The Dead. Really, it's just a genre based off ripping ideas from TTEOTD, TAS, Job For A Cowboy, and All Shall Perish's 2005 releases. Of course there's deathcore that actually effectively mixes hardcore with death metal, such as Ley Lines by Embrace The End, Fused Together In Revolving Doors by The Red Chord, Empires by Animosity, and The Healing Process by Despised Icon. All of which are incredible albums that I forgot to throw on here (aside from The Healing Process).
