|Favourite Albums At The Moment|
These are me favourite Albums at the moment. :) I hope you like
Dark Side Of The Moon
Listening to this make you go into a deep trance. It's perfect, flawless in every way(at least for me). This will be my favourite album for many many years.
Strange how a band, that isn't on my top list, gets so high on my favourite album list. But it is with a good reason, on this album you find it all. I especially like the guitar work and the drums are also superb.
This is a classic. On of the best Pop albums off all time. But that's logical it was made by a progresive mastermind, with some of the most talented artists in the world. I think Peter Gabriel is probably the most talented person in the music busines.
This is so beautiful. I haven't got more to say about this, either you love it or you hate it. It's in Icelandic and some people may find it strange, but I think it adds something to not know what something means, you can give every song your own thoughts.
On The Night
This is a live tour I would have loved to see. All songs are performed great, I truly love and admire the saxophone work on this album. It gives most songs an extra dimenson, and it works perfectly.
The very best of Sting and The Police
A very talented band this is, with great songs. Although this album lacks Police songs and could miss some Sting songs it's great. I don't really like best of albums, but with some artists those albums work fine. As long you don't ruin a classic album, which they didn't because this album only has 1 song of Synchronicity, and that's an album you have to listen all the way through.
Live At Slane Castle
U2 is great, this is a dvd, but the music is perfection. U2 live is one of the best things in the world, Bono really knows how to work a crowd, and they have so many classic songs all performed superb. Where The Streets Have No Name, is the highlight.
His voice unmatched, his guitar work beautiful. This album could have been so much higher if not a few songs were such downsides(Like Corpus Christi Carol). A shame, because all the other songs are classics.
|9|| ||Van Halen|
Live Here, Right Now
Again a live album, but some bands are great live. This is one of them, they do all classics and even the bad songs turn in good very good. I only don't like the long guitar solo, but the rest is great.
|10||Red Hot Chili Peppers|
Hard choice, I also really adore By The Way, but By The Way has more downsides, and on this one there is the great This Velvet Glove. :) Great album, by a great band.
|11||Red Hot Chili Peppers|
By The Way
By The Way, Universaly Speaking, Zephyr Songs, Can't Stop ... All great, very good. :)
Selling England By The Pound
Steve Hackett is a genius on the guitar, you really can see that here. Tony Banks has some really great keyboard tunes, like Firth Of Fifth. Mike Rutherfield is great, he does bass and guitar work, he is very talented. Phil Collins a terrific drummer. And Peter Gabriel, my favourite solo artist with his great voice. ALl in all one of the most talented, if not the most, band of the world.
I wanted to do this one higher, but I forgot, it would probably and up on 6 or something. I really love the drum and guitar work. Steven Wilson may not be one of the best guitar players, but that doesn't matter, he's unique and he has the ear to let all things just flow together.
|14|| ||Steve Hackett|
I don't think many people wil know this album. But it's great, it has some hard tunes, and some relaxing tunes, the guitar playing is perfect.
Tango In the Night
I love this album. Songs like Seven Wonders and Everywhere give me the chills. My parents used to listen to this album when we were going on vacation. I love the vocals.
Greatest Hits 1970-2002
I don't think he has a standout album, but on every album there are some highlights. And all those highlights make a very good album. Elton John has written some classics, my highlight is Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me
One of the best albums released lately, it is very upbeat and very catchy. I can't think of a single bad song on here. I hope we will hear more of these kind of good albums from them. A weekend In The City, still has to grow on me.
|18||Goo Goo Dolls|
Live in Buffalo July 4th 2004
Again a live album, but again a good one. Goo Goo Dolls are great, and this is some nice pop. I love Black Balloon and Slide, they are all better live than on album :)
|19|| ||The Who|
OUT HERE IN THE FIELDS, I FIGHT FOR MY MEALS. Baba O' Riley is perfection, one of the greatest songs of all time. Won't Get Fooled Again is also a classic, and there are gems like Bargain and Getting In Tune. :)
A Rush Of Blood To The Head
I like Coldplay, deal with it :P This is a good album :)
Great variation, Rock, Hip Hop, Dance, all kinds of genres mixed up and this is the result. Very good.
This has some great tunes, still has to grow a bit on me. But I like it very much.
Past To Present 1977-1990
Some of my favourite songs are on here, again a best off compilation, but I don't care. As long as I can listen to Africa.
Whats The Story Morning Glory
One of the great Britpop bands, I love this. Too bad they went down hill after this.
Bat Out Of Hell
This is with a reason one of the best sold albums of all time. Every song is a classic, if you listen one song of this it is good oif you listne every song of this, this is good. And if you listen it all the way through it's classic.
|1, 10 ftw|
|Some excellent choices. 1-4, 8, 16, 20-22 are all awesome albums.|
|My mom has that Elton John cd, I might take it out and listen to it.|
DSOTM is one I need to be in a certain mood to enjoy.
Demon Days is really good but for some reason I don't listen to it a lot.
|pretty good list! #10,11,20 and 22 are my faves on here. #6 is good but their greatest hits is far better.|
|i like 1, 2, 13, 22|
|1, 2, 25 ftw.|
|1, 2, 4, and 8 are some good stuff. Toto is pretty cool as well.|
