2007 Yay

These be what I be looking forward too.
United Abominations

I really thought this was going to be God-awful, but after I heard "Gears of War", I thought it would be solid. Then "Sleepwalker" was released, and I was stunned. This could be the best metal album of 07 if Dave and the gang can continue what "Sleepwalker" represented. I have high hopes for this, and it also has one of the sweetest album covers I have ever seen.
2 Exodus

Hell, I don't even know what the album is called, but I know they're supposed to release one this year. So why is this #2? Well, after releasing two great thrash albums recently, Exodus has no excuse to put out a crappy album.
3Dark Tranquillity

Sometimes, I just love to kick back and relax, and DT's "Character" is probably the best album to do that to in my book. And after hearing the stunning "Focus Shift", I have no doubt in my mind that these guys will impress me once again.
4 Slayer
Unholy Alliance DVD/CD

It's Slayer, and I'm a fanboy. Next.
5 MxPx

I still love me some MxPx, and when I heard they were returning to the studio, I got all giddy and stuff. Just like Exodus, their last few albums have been great, so they have no excuse to put out a bad one. Ily Yuri...
6 Linkin Park
Minutes to Midnight

Besides the fact that I was a huge LP fanboy back in like 6th grade, this album interests me. I don't know what it is about these guys, as I never listen to them anymore, but I feel inclined to check out the stuff they put out.
7 Shadows Fall
Threads of Life

They've got a lot of talent within the band, and it'd be a shame to see it put forth towards a crappy album. But, so far, I've liked what they've put out. This won't be near the best of 07 for me, but I've got a good hunch I will deeply enjoy it. Plus their solos are like sex so yea.
8 Metallica

To be honest, I'm rather dreading this. The songs they performed did not catch me at all, and in my mind, they should probably just give up already. Just tour around the world, and never step foot in the studio. That being said, I know I'll end up buying this. Damnit.
