| Albums I'm Buying Next
Here I am again, in New Technologies In Art, aka Photoshop 101. rHere's a list of the albums I plan on buying next. I'll take reccs, and list-change suggestions, I guess, too. | 1 | | Opeth Blackwater Park | 2 | | Opeth Damnation | 3 | | Opeth Deliverance | 4 | | Opeth Lamentations
All of these Opeth albums come in a box set. w00t. :D | 5 | | The Red Chord Fused Together In Revolving Doors
Deathcore? Death metal? How bout...fucking awesome? | 6 | | Refused The Shape of Punk To Come
The deluxe CD/DVD thing. This is gonna be AWESOME. | 7 | | Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Yeah, I've listened to a lot off this album, and I adore it. | 8 | | Godspeed You! Black Emperor F#A#(Infinity)
This will be my first Godspeed album, and only my second post-rock album. I've been really getting into the genre lately, though. | 9 | | Amia Venera Landscape The Long Procession
Everyone loves. I listened. Now I love. Soon I buy. | 10 | | Cryptopsy None So Vile
I'm a huge death metal fan, and there's still some bare essentials I don't own yet. Hey, I'm still pretty young, and I haven't been collecting CDs seriously for very long. lol :P | 11 | | La Dispute Somewhere at the Bottom of the River...
What I've heard from this is incredible. I've been really getting into post-hardcore/screamo stuff lately, too. | 12 | | Atmosphere God Loves Ugly
I've loved these guys for the longest time, and I still don't own an album from them. The title track's lyrics are genius. Can't wait to get this. | 13 | | Sigur Ros ( )
Yeah, I've heard pretty good things about this one, too. | |
Phideaux
01.14.11 | 6 rules. Not sure why it took me so long to hear about them. | TheEnigma
01.14.11 | Change 11 to "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River..." and the album art should show up.
Some great albums in this list. | MO
01.14.11 | fuck yes 10 and 12, and 1-4 obviously :P | thunder15
01.14.11 | do you mean buying or do you mean downloading? because lol buying music | xenocide.
01.14.11 | He said "buying", not downloading, and I appreciate it. There is essential difference between owning
physical copy of an album and using downloaded files. Someday you'll understand. | Josh D.
01.14.11 | Get Trophywife - An Innocent Orphan In The Post-Modern World. | Josh D.
01.14.11 | Yeah, I love owning CD's so they can be uploaded to my computer and never touched again. | TheJackal
01.14.11 | Basically what xenocide said^^^^ I have loads of CDs and love my collection.
Great list btw, lots of albums I love there | TheEnigma
01.14.11 | There's definitely something to be said about owning an actual copy of an album as opposed to simply downloading it on your computer. Most of my music is downloaded for free, but there are some bands whose discography I own in full because a) it makes for a neat little collection and b) I want to support certain artists.
inb4 buying one CD or even a discography makes little to no difference to the artist.
I know, but it's the principle of the thing. | eternium
01.14.11 | I have 1 and 6. I need several of these. | Tyler.
01.14.11 | want 13 so bad | BringMeABrick
01.15.11 | xenocide and Enigma, you said it. :)
| dr2den
01.15.11 | needs bm | BringMeABrick
01.15.11 | ^ I'm not the biggest bm fan, but besides the bare essentials (Emperor, Darkthrone, Burzum, etc.), do you think you could give me some reccs? I'd like to decide if I'm ever gonna be a bm fan lol
Actually, on second thought, what Burzum album would you recc? lol xP | DeathByDaydream
01.15.11 | Too bad you missed out on the whole La Dispute discography for free on Christmas. | BringMeABrick
01.16.11 | ^ Uh....WHAAAAT?! Ass. That blows. >___ |
