Expensive is different for each person's budget. Side effects that I noticed is short temper and periods of being extremely fucking tired because your body is using all of your energy for growth. It's not something you want to use often. I found that two cycles was plenty and I've never really lost it since. |

01.05.11 | I lift weights 3 days a week, go train at my kickboxing gym two days a week, which overlap with my chest workout day and my lower body day, and finally spend at least 2-3hours a week hitting the heavy bag at home.
Seriously, if you guys are interested in martial arts check to see if you have a local muay thai gym, the way my sessions are run give you one hell of a workout, you can be completely breathless at the end of the hour, and then they usually make you do one of two things, 50 body squats, 50 pushups, and 50 crunches, or just 200 crunches. However, the most brutal thing they've made us do in the 2.5 months i've been training is at the end of the hour we had to throw 150 kicks, 75 from each leg, and if you or your partner knows the proper technique and are still throwing full force, it is a fucking huge mountain to climb. |

01.05.11 | Honestly, I was skinny as a bean pole for my entire life but now at almost 22 i'm a 5'8/9 lean 160. Eat alot, but try to eat alot of fruit/nuts/veggies/lean meat, 4 to 6 meals and plenty snacks depending on your metabolism, mine is fast. Abolish soda/junk food the best you can. I cheat with waffle house/dennys, then the rest is a combination of training consistently and getting 7-8 hours a sleep at night. It's a process that pays off in the long run. |

I've been boxing for roughly 6 years, and doing Muay Thai/Juso/Jiu Jitsu/Sanda for about 4. It's a hell of a workout, and if your serious about it, the weight training routine they put you on is ridicuolous, at least mine is. Great muscular endurance, while still seeing impressive growth.
I've actually got a Sanda fight coming up this weekend, and it's my first one after jumping up a weight class!
Once you start to find the time for everything, the motivation becomes easier. And you just keep itching to do it. |

01.05.11 | Balls, I find a good way to really work the biceps is to do triangle super sets, so start with like 90% of your one rep max and do like 3 reps, then increase the weight by a couple of kg and reps by a couple and so on till you hit about 15 reps. That should kill em' pretty good. Rest about 30-45secs between each set. |

I then started running and doing rep workouts in circuits and in about 6 months shed 120 pounds and got down to 160. Since then I've re-worked my diet ( I can actually eat food some-what guilt free now, which was a huge plus for me) and I work out about 5-6 days a week and I'm sitting at a healthy and muscle filled 178 :) |
