Remember Your First Show?

Mine was Gigantour, can't remember what year. Tickets were free, was just starting to get into metal. Didn't know that what I was seeing would eventually be some of my favorite bands. At the time, it was just a free show... Now, I wish I could see it again.
1The Dillinger Escape Plan
Calculating Infinity

They opened the show. Crazy energy, but at the time that's all it was to me... Noisy energy... Now, I've been trying to get to a show that they headline..
2Nevermore
Dead Heart in a Dead World

They were ok... Great instrumental work, small crowd for these guys though. Good performance.
3Fear Factory
Transgression

The crowd started to grow, and these guys were crazy. Can't say that I loved them, and can't say that I love them now... But they were good live.
4Dream Theater
Octavarium

The reason I took the tickets. I hadn't accepted screaming yet, but I was starting to like heavier music. I guess this was my "transition band"?? Great performance.
5Megadeth
Rust in Peace

The obvious headliners. Great performance. Was just blown away.
