Metalcoar

some metalcore bands/albums i enjoy.
1Eighteen Visions
Vanity

Vanity was kind of like Eighteen Visions' transition album; bridging the gap between the spastic hardcore roots of the bands earlier albums with the accessibility that would be found on Obsession and the s/t, Vanity is probably their most diverse record.
2Misery Signals
Mirrors

My first and favorite Misery Signals album. Musically the band is at their most dynamic and layered and I enjoy how Karl's vocals are still very much rooted in hardcore as opposed to the deeper, more guttural approach of Controller. Also Patrick Stump rules in "One Day I'll Stay Home".
3Still Remains
Of Love and Lunacy

Probably one of the only metalcore records I still listen to on a near daily basis, Of Love and Lunacy is a great combination of modern metalcore's sing/scream song structures with melodeath influenced guitar.
4Machinemade God
Masked

Straddling the line between melodic death metal and metalcore, features triumphant melodies alongside great harsh screamed vocals, sparse cleans and overall excellent instrumentation.
5Burn In Silence
Angel Maker

Surprisingly good black metal influenced metalcore.
6Silent Civilian
Rebirth of the Temple

Although not really anything new or innovative, the band just plays modern metalcore really fucking well.
7From A Second Story Window
Delenda

Spastic as fuck metalcore with some really really awesome instrumentation.
8Incarpathia
Lost

Although technically deathcore, Incarpathia is probably one of the best bands in the genre and sadly they A) never got the recognition they deserved and B) recently disbanded. Very melodic while still remaining heavy, they have some cool riffs and some very cool clean vocal breaks every once in awhile.
9 Eighteen Visions
Time Is Yesterday Killed

Oh damn, too many spaces, but this rules as well.
10Eighteen Visions
Until the Ink Runs Out

As does this.
