| Deftones Live In Orlando Fl 8/27/10
Ok so, here is my short review of the Deftones live
show on 8/27/10
at the House of Blues. It was one of the greatest live
shows i've ever
seen, and the whole band was in top form. Chino was
especially great,
his screams were superb and his singing was top
notch. They played a
lot of older stuff and a ton of material off of Diamond
Eyes. The crowd
was insane, and there was a 3 song encore (engine no.
9, 7 words, and headup) at the end. Steph was
beginning to walk offstage and put his guitar away after
7 words but the crowd wouldn't stop
screaming for more so Chino looked over at him and
was like "come
on man, we gotta play one more song!" so he came
back over and
they launched into Headup to finish an amazing set.
Fucking great
night. It was also interesting that they opened with Be
Quiet and Drive, but they fucking nailed it just like all

08.28.10 | I wish I would've seen them when they came to Lubbock. I did get to see them three months ago in Amarillo, though. That night was insane; they opened with 'Rocket Skates'.
You're so damn LUCKY to have them play 'Hole In The Earth' at your show...though they didn't play 'CMND/CTRL', which is awesome live, IMO. Looks like a good set, nonetheless. I'd see them again if I could. | BassDemon333
08.28.10 | Yeah, I wish they would have played CMND but it was still a great set. The crowd went insane during every song. The Adrenaline songs they played were especially fucking crushing, Stephs guitar deafened me :-P |
