The man, the myth, the legend? The most infamous Sputniker over the past 12 months or so is undoubtedly the one we call Pit (and the one I call 'honey'). These are his alts ranked.

Not yet confirmed as a Pit, but the rumors are swirling (BREAKING NEWS: a new Pit alt, HardSputDick, has appeared to denounce any involvement of Pit and Ricky -- remains to be seen if this is yet another device of trickery to lull the innocent users of Sputnik into a dream-like state of vulnerability)

An account created for the sole purpose of trolling jesusjuice1179, it ended up with them just reporting each other to the mods consistently for a couple of days in between posting random insults in each others' shoutboxes. One of Pit's earliest alts, it shows a more innocent side of him, before he had fully mastered the art of pushing people's buttons.

LaCosaNostra13. this one is significant mainly because he was able to convince a few users (users that actually knew him, on top of it) that he was actually not Pit. Of course, he confided his true identity to me in an exploding shoutbox message and asked me to keep it a secret. Which I did, for like half a day. Actually, I think he spilled the beans to Hans and Maniac next, and this became his main for a period of 2 weeks before a spam tirade rendered it no mas (why username's extinct: perma-ban)

buckfutter2. ah, yes, the legendary account of buckfutter2. For those who remember, this one is largely famous for spamming the entire site with pictures of various obese women in provacative poses for about a half hour. Obviously, we know what happened here (why username's extinct: perma-ban)

TheBaneOfSputnik. This account lasted only about a month, but damn, he put up a raucous 1,500 comments and (I think) 30 some-odd lists in that time. He also managed to troll the hell out of Apollo right before he went off the deep end one day and got himself banned. This account marked the first time Pit used his real name on his profile, and was created in response to the banning of buckfutter2. The old Meds thread contained some genuinely hilarious conversations between Pit and Jom. I really thought this one had a chance at going the distance, but alas... (why username's extinct: perma-ban)

buckfutter. this was supposed to be the beginning of a 'kinder, gentler' Pit, and it was. For about an hour. I think all it took was a new user saying something stupid and all the vitriol that had been bubbling underneath the surface (for the entire hour) came shooting out in a geyser of hatred, mother jokes and surprisingly impeccable taste in music. Also, this was his 2nd most long-lived account and where he rated his most albums (why username's extinct: perma-ban)

intothepit83. The original, and still the best. Most of sputnik knows him as 'Pit' and this is how it started. Basically, if you were a regular here between last fall and sometime early this year, you probably had your mother (and likely your music taste or sexual health) insulted by this user. However, he got me into a lot of hardcore and via his daily listing our bromance was born. This is where it all started folks, take a look at any of ThePalaceOfWisdom's reviews or lists (specifically the metalcore one) for examples of fine trolling. (why username's extinct: perma-ban)
