Current Digs Pt 2
Shit thats been getting played alot by me. |
1 | | Impending Doom There Will Be Violence
One of my favorites, of course i hate that they're christian but it wont keep me from liking them. Not as heavy as back in the day but still very melodic and very clean. |
2 | | The Acacia Strain Wormwood
Also one of my favorites, ill never like anything as much as 3750 and the dead walk, but still keeping theyre shit really clean really heavy and really well written both instrumentally and lyrically. |
3 | | Fallen Figure Devival
I first heard they're EP, when this album dropped i liked them even more. Very melodic and clean. Not the heaviest band ever, but not bad for a first their first album. |
4 | | Suffokate No Mercy, No Forgiveness
I love how much this band cleaned up since their 'oakland' album came out, i liked them then but they cleaned up so much. Great Vocals and guitar work and some really sick breakdowns. |
5 | | Atilla Rage
I really dont take this band very seriously, theyre lyricss are all about partying and dumb. But i can appreciate their different sound and style. |
6 | | Thy Art Is Murder The Adversary
This band has a pretty sick vocalist, theyre not jaw dropping but definitely interesting. I think i preffered theyre EP however. |
7 | | Did You Mean Australia? EP
A band that i actually had the chance to see live over the summer and hangout with for several hours after the show. They have a new vocalist who is absoloutly SICK. I dont think its him in their recordings because he sounded much bettter live but i still appreciate how their music is written. Heavy and gritty with pretty brutal lyrics. |
8 | | From The Shallows Beyond The Unknown
I actually really like this band, theyre really clean pretty heavy with great breakdowns and drumwork. The vocals could use some work though. |
9 | | Whitechapel A New Era Of Corruption
I definitely prefer their first two albums to this one, that being said this album really solidifies how heavy this band can really be. Not my favorite album ever but sick regardless. Plus their vocalist now does both the lows and the highs which i can absoloutely respect for broadening his horizons. |
10 | | A Plea For Purging The Marriage of Heaven and Hell
I like this album quite a bit as well, however they havent really changed their sound very much since their last album. Just little touch up in the guitar work that is hardly noticable. Regardless, they continue to play cleanly not to heavy but with some really well written breakdowns. |
