Top 5 Albums To Space Out To

Addicts: Black Meddle Pt. 2

Not as great as part 1 but definitely still worth at least one listen. This time around they show some 70's rock/prog influences. Not much else to say really.
4Sigur Ros

Just found these guys recently so i don't know anything(at all) about them. Anyways, this is just a good listen if you're looking for something new.

Most albums are designed so that they build from the first track to the last but this does the exact opposite(but not in a good way). It starts off with the title track(which is fairly upbeat) but as each track passes the tempo drops more and more, giving it more of a doom/gloom vibe. By the time you reach the final track(Burial At Sea), the energy has dropped quite a bit but they work it to their advantage(this is the strongest track on the album btw).

Assassins: Black Meddle Pt.1

When I heard this it threw me for a loop. These guys have taken a lot of flack for this album and the one after it but they're both ranked pretty high in my book. Crazy laser noises, awesome clean parts, and a hint at their past sound every once in awhile.
1Burzum
Filosofem

Varg is pretty damn sloppy and repetitive but the dude can write some great s***. Vocals are crackly(kinda bugs me) and the guitar sounds takes a few listens to get used to. Definitely one of my favs
