eternium
08.06.10 | Good stuff, especially 2-5.
Still haven't listened to 1. |
Prolapse
08.06.10 | 1-5 = pulsating boner |

08.06.10 | thanks guys, you definitely have to check out catch for us the foxes. it is one of the few albums that I never tire of. |
Prolapse
08.06.10 | yeah it's really really good, i prefer brother sister though |
lostatsea88
08.06.10 | Many people do, and I do enjoy BS, but it does not resonate as much with for some reason. I'm not sure why. |
Prolapse
08.06.10 | different strokes for different strokes i guess
listen to Minus the Bear, i'd say you'd like 'em |
LegendofPittman
08.06.10 | 1-5, 8, and 10 = I love you lol, although I prefer Brother Sister as well. |
LegendofPittman
08.06.10 | 1-6* |
lostatsea88
08.06.10 | I will definitely check Minus the Bear out when I'm not at work lol; I have heard of them, but never got the chance to check them out. I am pretty sure that I am grossly outnumbered in my love for CFUTF as opposed to BS, legendofpittman haha. Common Existence is so good in my opinion. |
eternium
08.06.10 | Since you like 9 so much, have you heard Botch? |
LegendofPittman
08.06.10 | I love Common Existence, but it is 2nd to Full Collapse for me. |
lostatsea88
08.06.10 | eternium- actually, i hadn't heard of them until i started skulking around this site. i am planning on buying one of their cds, which one would be good to start with?
i love full collapse as well, and i actually considered putting both of them on here. the passion in that cd is impossible to deny for sure. |
LegendofPittman
08.06.10 | ^ Agreed
For Botch, I would rec We Came As Romans, although Eternium may rec different. |
LegendofPittman
08.06.10 | We Are The Romans* |
eternium
08.06.10 | We Are the Romans. One of my favorite albums of all time. |
lostatsea88
08.06.10 | thats good enough for me haha. i will check it out sometime this weekend. from what i have heard about the sound, i am sure that i will love it.
on a side note, what is a good Cave In album to get as well? There are a few bands out there that I am ashamed to say that I haven't heard that seem to be pretty amazing. |
eternium
08.07.10 | Until Your Heart Stops is their metalcore album.
Jupiter is their post-hardcore album.
Those two are about equal in how great they are. |
SlightlyEpic
08.07.10 | cool list, 4 looks a little out of place in compared to everything else but I like that, it's cute |
SlightlyEpic
08.07.10 | in comparison* |
lostatsea88
08.07.10 | interesting, i will try to locate both of them to see which one appeals to me more. are there different vocalists, or just a drastic change in sound?
I will admit my tastes are a little...eclectic? strange? cute? haha |
eternium
08.07.10 | It's mostly a change in sound, but the band has two vocalists; Caleb Scofied, who plays bass, does most of the screaming while Stephen Brodsky, who plays guitar, does most of the clean singing. |
BurningApollo
08.07.10 | I love Norma Jean too, but i wouldn't say Redeemer is that good. 'll have to give it another listen |
lostatsea88
08.07.10 | I think that Redeemer was vastly underrated. Songs like "A Small Spark..." and "A Grand Scene..." were absolutely amazing in my opinion. It just seemed to be a little more structured, which I enjoyed. |
AmericnZero02
08.07.10 | ^I completely agree. That's probably my favorite NJ record. |
kingjulian
08.07.10 | I listened through Redeemer a little while ago and was really amazed at how good it is. Grand Scene For A Color Film is an amazing album opener. |
MoosechriS
08.07.10 | mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm number 4 "Farwell note to this city" is so gooooooood |
eternium
08.07.10 | I love the vocals in that song so much. Probably my second favorite on the album, with Saddest Day being first of course. |
East Hastings
08.07.10 | voices of the humpback whales - alaska |
