Battle Of The Genres- Part 16

BATTLE OF THE GENRES - PART SIXTEEN /// Thrice won the last round over Fugazi and Thursday. For those complaining about the choices, all I will say is that there is a method to my madness and you will be able to get back at me very shortly. Anyway, here's the next round. /// DESC RIPTION - Vote for a band that you would like to represent each genre. There are eighteen genres in total, which means eighteen preliminary rounds. Then the representatives from each genre will face off. Which genre/band will win? /// RULES - One vote per member per day (each round lasts 24 hours) - In the event of a tie, a faceoff will occur between the disputed bands - Let's get started
1ELECTRONICA
2Burial

Highest-rated album: Untrue (4.1 avg. rating) /// "Burial, aka Will Bevan, is a producer from South London, England. His eponymous debut album was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. The Wire magazine named it their album of the year and it came fifth in the Mixmag 2006 Album of the Year list.
Although both albums have been met with much critical acclaim, Burial remained anonymous until August 2008, stating in a past interview that ?only five people know I make tunes?."
3Boards Of Canada

Highest-rated album: Music Has the Right to Children (4.2 avg. rating) /// "Boards of Canada are a brother brother duo that hail from Scotland. Their music combines trip-hop-esque beats with lush keyboard lines and arrangements. The music has a very sublime and laid-back tone subtlety mixing in elements of ambient, techno, and funk. Boards of Canada didn't participate in many tours and rarely speak in interviews because they enjoy their privacy.
4Aphex Twin

Highest-rated album: Selected Ambient Works 85-92 (4.2 avg. rating) /// "Aphex Twin (born Richard David James, August 18, 1971, Ireland) is a UK-based electronic music artist, credited with pushing forward the genres of techno, ambient, acid, and drum and bass. He has been described as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music" He is known as many aliasis, including Aphex twin, AFX, Polygon window, caustic window or just Richard D James."
