My Personal Top 10 Albums Of The Year.
1Regina Spektor
Begin to Hope

Just because I don't think there was an album I listened to more than this this year. Even though I haven't put it on in awhile, it still gets my honor as top album of the year.
2Brand New
The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me

Never was a big Brand New fan. Somehow, this album managed to blow me away.
3Mastodon
Blood Mountain

The most unique metal reason I heard all year.
4Cat Power
The Greatest

Few words can describe my love for her, and my love for this album.
5Neko Case
Fox Confessor Brings the Flood

Alt- Country at it's finest. A truly outstanding record.
6Nellie McKay
Pretty Little Head

This mammoth genre busting album had me scratching my head the entire time I listened to it. It's more of a musical timeline than an album, but it's amazing nonetheless.
7Damien Rice
9

Not nearly as good as his debut, but even an off-album from Damien Rice is good enough to make my top 10.
8Fear Before the March of Flames
The Always Open Mouth

This band has progressed a lot over the years, and this is a perfect example of their progression.
9 Josepth Arthur
Nuclear Daydream

It may be the fact that he lived 10 seconds down the street from me most of my life, but I still find something breathtaking about this beauitful album.
10 Isobel Campbell
Milkwhite Sheets

Strange doesn't begin the describe this album. Still, it is quite a fun listen.
