Here's a good question. What top five bands do you wish to see live? It
can be bands you have not seen or ones that you have seen and just
wish to catch again. Here's mine and why: | | 1 | Arcade Fire
Finally get to cross these guys off the list, as I am seeing them at Madison
Square Garden in August. They just seem like they put on a really interesting
and captivating live performance. | | 2 | Band of Horses
One of my favorite groups at the moment, and I am interesting in hearing how
their music would translate into a live setting. However, I'm pretty disappointed
that their fall tour doesn't make it to the east coast. | | 3 | Murder by Death
I have heard that the whiskey-soaked atmosphere of their music is amplified in
a live setting to a great extent. Some bourbon and a good spot to hear the
tunes would be perfect here. | | 4 | Girl Talk
If I was able to not worry about driving and get super drunk, this would be the
perfect show. Greg really just seems to go nuts, and the mash-up improvisation
would also be a highlight. | | 5 | The National
I can't imagine their live show is super exciting, but to see how they translate
the atmosphere of their music into a live setting would be pretty cool to check
out. | |
