|Live In '10|
The bands/shows I've seen in 2010 in order of how much they ruled.
Saw them with Kevin Devine (who ruled as well) and it was about as good as I
thought it would be. Opened with 'Vices' and closed with 'Play Crack The Sky',
also met KritikalMotion in the pit, which was pretty cool.
Axe To Fall
Saw them with Genghis Tron, and they DESTROYED. Played a good mix of
their stuff (nothing pre-JD aside from the closer) and even though they
closed with 'The Saddest Day' instead of 'Jane Doe' it was still kick ass.
Jacob Bannon is awesome also.
|3||Every Time I Die|
New Junk Aesthetic
With 50 Lions. Easily the most fun I've had at a gig.
Worship And Tribute
At Soundwave. Played mostly stuff off Worship and Tribute and only one
song from EYEWTKAS, but it was still incredible. Crowd sucked ass though,
and seeing them at a festival wasn't ideal.
|5||The Dillinger Escape Plan|
With Maylene And The Sons of Disaster, had to get new glasses after this
gig because they got stomped on but it was worth it. Greg's biceps seem to
have gotten bigger since last time.
Played all of Doolittle. Don't really think I need to explain this.
|7||Polar Bear Club|
With Break Even (who were really fucking tight). The nicest band I've ever
had the pleasure of seeing, shittons of energy.
Feast Or Famine
The Revival Tour with Frank Turner, Ben Nichols and Tim Barry. Whole gig
had one of the best vibes I've experienced, would've been higher up if I
didn't have to leave early to catch the bus home.
Feed The Animals
At Big Day Out 2010. Crowd was full of fags (easily the worst festival crowd
in Australia, year in, year out) but Greg was just too good at getting people
Frank Carter is the maddest cunt in punk rock. Met ThePalaceOfWisdom just
|11||Sunny Day Real Estate|
So tight live. Was hot as hell though.
|12||Eleventh He Reaches London|
Hollow Be My Name
Twice, with Suffer both times. So much better live than on record.
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt II
Did lots of Wu-stuff circa Enter The Wu-Tang which was baller. There were 2
fights during the gig and one huge fight outside afterwards, which kind of
ruined the experience.
The Sufferer And The Witness
Big Day Out 2010. Were good live though their setlist SUCKED, and again,
|15||The Get-Up Kids|
Something To Write Home About
Soundwave 2010. They were great live, wish I'd been more into them at
the time. Stupid All Time Low fans were everywhere though because they
were playing next and FUUUUUUUUU ALL TIME LOW FANS ARE THE WORST
Crack The Skye
Big Day Out 2010. Their beards are more impressive in real life.
REST OF THESE BANDS ARE RANDOM FESTIVAL BANDS. Soundwave 2010,
were actually decent.
The Crane Wife
Big Day Out 2010. Were really nice late afternoon on a smaller stage.
|19||Reel Big Fish|
Turn The Radio Off
Soundwave. Was nostalgic as fuck for me, and they were legit entertaining.
|20||Jimmy Eat World|
Soundwave. Only caught the last 5 songs of their set, but they were great.
Soundwave. Could barely hear anything over the number of 14 - 16 year
old girls SCREAMING.
Big Day Out. Were actually alright until they started playing their Resistance
stuff. Crowd absolutely SUCKED though, couple started mackin' on each
other right in front of me.
Were decent but I mean, honestly, Powderfinger aren't the kind of band I'd
go out of my way to see.
|24||The Mars Volta|
Frances The Mute
Were actually really good, forgot about them though or else they would've
been higher. Played a sweet mix of older stuff and the new, and Cedric's
dancing is hilarious.
|25|| ||The Aquabats!|
The Fury Of The Aquabats!
THIS SHOULD BE WAAAAY HIGHER. They were fucking AWESOME live, pretty
obvious don't take themselves seriously and were just heaps of fun. MC Bat
Commander is fucking hilarious.

numbers and I've run out
so here are some 2010 albums that rule
