Pre-prejudiced Albums

Have you ever had an album that you wanted to hate but couldn't? Or put off listening to for some reason?
1Death Cab for Cutie
Transatlanticism

My normally music-deficient friend (Coldplay?) somehow came across this brilliant album and I never bothered to listen to it because of a combination of the band name and her previous taste. 4.8/5
2Green Day
American Idiot

"This sucks, green day sold out". Maybe with 21st Century Breakdown, but unlike that piece of horseshit this is great if thought of as a rock opera. And the music is pretty damn good. 4/5
3Radiohead
OK Computer

I started this album so many times. I could not make it through Paranoid Android. I know, best song ever etc., but I couldn't. Finally I made it and it was amazed. 4.8/5
