| Shoegaze/Ambient/Post-Rock recs?
I listen to a lot of ambient Black Metal and Shoegaze influenced Black Metal, but not nearly enough Shoegaze or straight ambient stuff. I'd really love enjoy some recommendations on great Shoegaze albums or Ambient albums, even metal albums I missed that are some sort of combination of them all. Post-Rock too. | 1 | | Biosphere Substrata
Great album that accurately conveys the feeling it tries to execute in theme. | 2 | | Film School Hideout
Listened to this many times and it's still just a very enjoyable album. | 3 | | Agalloch Ashes Against The Grain
The Mantle is probably my favorite album, but I really enjoy some individual tracks on this album more than anything they've ever done. | 4 | | Alcest Ecailles De Lune
The first three tracks blew me away. The atmosphere on the tracks is great, and I enjoy the fact it's not predominantly metal so much as it is just an added element to the CD. | 5 | | Annthennath Paens of Apostasy
A lot of repetition, but considering the speed/intensity of the album it's actually surprisingly hypnotic at times. A nice listen. | 6 | | Otargos Fuck God Disease Process
Pretty aggressive and fast, but the slow moments really make the album stand out to me. Great ideas throughout generally. | 7 | | The Gathering The West Pole
Honestly just a really solid/great album. | 8 | | Have A Nice Life Deathconsciousness
Album that I frequent from time to time. | 9 | | Kauan Aava Tuulen Maa
Really majestic album, great soothing vocals and clean guitar lines. | 10 | | If These Trees Could Talk If These Trees Could Talk
Some interesting dynamics and a cool post-rock? album. Had some heavier parts that I'm not so custom to hearing in this particular type of music. | |
