Albums That Have Changed Me.
People will probably disagree, but these changed alot of things for me. |
| 1 | | John Mayer Continuum
I love the lyrics on this album, "Gravity" is really special to me. My favorite of all time. Lots of soul, and love the lead guitar. |
| 2 | | Radiohead OK Computer
The ideas about social disconnection & average normal life scared me. The textures in this record are perfect, every note is plucked and placed perfectly. |
| 3 | | Death Cab For Cutie Transatlanticism
This is a very emotional record, i can't imagine them making a record better. The way the songs lead into each other is perfect. |
| 4 | | Brand New The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me
Very raw and emotional. Brand New came a long way from their punk/pop debut. |
| 5 | | Incubus Morning View
A lot different from their earlier records. A few heavy numbers, but totally relaxing and spacey for the most part. |
| 6 | | Coldplay Parachutes
People hate Coldplay, but Parachutes is such a great album. |
| 7 | | The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream
Favorite album from 90's by far. Love the leads, and the guitar overdubbing is used so many times per track. |
| 8 | | Radiohead The Bends
Not as accomplished as OK Computer, but one of the best albums ever made. |
| 9 | | Modest Mouse Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Although a very quirky and challenging listen; Isaac Brocks lyrics on religion and death are very funny. Some of the songs are insanely catchy, some are are hard to listen to. But I love this album. |
| 10 | | Manchester Orchestra I'm like a virgin losing a child
Nothing special or original about the band, but this album is great. |
