Winter Jamz

Here's 20 albums that I've been digging this vinter.
20 Basilisk
A Joyless March Through The Cold Lands

Very cold production, very bleak sounding shrieks. The effects make them sound insane. This album is so grimly SATAN it's absurd.
19Immolation
Failures For Gods

I started busting this out when I heard about the new album. I love the muddy production, it makes everything sound so heavy and synester. My second favorite death metal album.
18Autopsy
Mental Funeral

Favorite death metal album ever. Gross as fuck sounding, they bring necrophilia lyrics to a poetic art.
17Alpinist
Minus.Mensch

Great crusty sound. Raw as fuck vocals. So much dbeat.
16 Single State Of Man
Single State Of Man

Post-Kittencore.
15Converge
Jane Doe

This recently came back into rotation because of Homewrecker and Heaven In Her Arms, and then inevitably the whole album.
14I, Robot
Et Cetera

This band just really strikes a chord with me. I love the punkiness to their sound, it makes it much lighter and more honest sounding than a lot of other similar skamzos bands.
13Underoath
The Changing Of Times

I always listen to this. Always.
12Vlad Tepes / Belketre
March To The Black Holocaust

One of my favorite bm releases ever. But I listen to stuff in phases during the year idk, it's been snowing a lot this past month so it's been getting quite a bit of rotation.
11 Loudblast
Sublime Dementia

Classic French death metal album. Very good deep voice.~
10 Blut Aus Nord
The Work Which Transforms Gods

Some of the most SATAN riffing on any metal album ever. Just downright eerie.
9Whitechapel
The Somatic Defilement

YOU WILL NEVER FUCK AGAIN!
8 Altar Of Plagues
Sol

Getting back into da hipster fairy black metals for der Vinter. Awesome vox.
7Loma Prieta
Last City
6The Appleseed Cast
Sagarmatha

And they've progressed quite beautifully.~*~*
5 The Appleseed Cast
The End Of The Ring Wars

This band is one of my favorite bands ever.... they're put out so much outstanding work, it's pretty awesome.
4The Fall Of Boss Koala
Reference Points

This EP is one of the most ear pleasing screamo records of the decade. Think vocals kind of in between Orchid and Circle Takes The Square, and riffs varying from busy tweedly guitars, to melodic post-rocky guitars. Also Scottish. Very scene looking band.
3 Archives
Skvotter

An awesome Scottish emo record, with great lyrical content. Great vocals on album, unfortunately meh live. Great sound. Epic riff dude.
2Poison The Well
The Opposite Of December

Fittingly I listened to this way too much during the month of December. I seriously forgot how good this album was, it's too classic.
1 Suis La Lune
Quiet, Pull The Strings

Suis La Lune is by far one of my favorite European emo bands out there. The broken English angsty but honest lyrics get me for some reason. Great voice, great guitarz.
