| Post Post Post Hardcore
I need some of this newer rock shit in my life. Not just scene bands (As some on my list aren't scene post hardcore bands gone softer) but just general good rock. No nu metal. Shit's gross. Here's some of what I've been digging recently. | 1 | | Thrice Beggars
This album is a solid follow up to the Alchemy Indexes. Just catchy and well written. | 2 | | Alexisonfire Old Crows / Young Cardinals
Their new album is definitely a departure from the post hardcore, but they are definitely going places with this new sound. Good places. | 3 | | The Audition Champion
Usually a little poppy for my taste, but god damn, Danny has clever vocal melodies and delivery. I love singing along to this album. | 4 | | Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
This album took a LONG time (Like 3 years) for me to finally admit it's not total garbage. I still hate that single, "Jesus", and think a lot of what Jesse has to say is a mix between pretentious and bitchy, but the music is there. Music first, lyrics second. | 5 | | Manchester Orchestra Mean Everything to Nothing
This sleeper album (for me at least) caught me way off guard and I love it. It's catchy and poppy while still maintaining orginality and spice. Love it. | 6 | | Emery ...In Shallow Seas We Sail
One of my all time favorites now for singing along, those dudes from Emery make one hell of an album. And their voices are amazing. Music's great and isn't stale or used up at all. | 7 | | Unwritten Law The Hit List
There were a lot of Unwritten Law albums to pick from, so I just went with their greatest hits. | 8 | | Showbread Anorexia Nervosa
Hated Annorhexia. Loved Nervosa. But this site only lists them as 1 album, even though it's really 2. | 9 | | The Almost Southern Weather
Aaron's just got a good voice and writes good music. | 10 | | Dustin Kensrue Please Come Home
I know Thrice is on here already, but Dustin's solo project is still a great rock album that I'd love to hear more like. | |

08.26.09 | So "Jesus" is probably Brand New's best song. | Knott-
08.26.09 | you'd probably enjoy Fightstar - Be Human | MillionMilesAway
08.26.09 | Try out A Static Lullaby's Rattlesnake album | McDiggitz
08.26.09 | I have Rattlesnake and love it. But I was looking for something a little less intense for these rec's (not to call ASL intense).
But thanks! | MillionMilesAway
08.26.09 | Hmm im sure you've prolly heard these but maybe not.
At The Drive-In: Relationship Of Command
Burden Of A Day: OneOneThousand
Dance Gavin Dance: Happiness
Before Their Eyes: Before Their Eyes | chaseguitar
08.27.09 | Yeah Fightstar's Be Human is a really good album, as well as the rest of their stuff. And you probably have heard of these before, but they're all great albums: "The End is Not the End" by House of Heroes, "Volcano" by Gatsbys American Dream, "White Lies" by LoveHateHero, and "A Toast to Bad Taste" by Far-less. | IRAI
11.12.09 | 3 is a guilty pleasure of mine. i love singing to it, as well |
