Replacing Endtroducing On My Priority List
I always have 5 albums on my "Priority List". Next week I'm buying DJ Shadow-Endtroducing (which I know will be awesome), but now I can't for the life of me decide what out of these 8 albums should take it's place. What say you Sputnikmusic?
The first post-rock album? It sounds amazing.
You Are There
It sounds absolutely beautiful, and I've been on a post-rock streak lately.
I loved Mezzanine and would love to get more trip-hop. This sounds like a great one to get.

I've heard great things about this and Kayo Dot. I have no idea what they sound like, what should I try first? This or Choirs of Eye?
Choirs of the Eye
This or Bath?
I have Daydream Nation and it has just recently really grown on me. This sounds awesome.
Ambient 1: Music For Airports
This sounds really ambient and relaxing. I've got summer semester coming up here and this sounds like some great study music.
I got Deltron 3030 (my first rap album) and loved it. Then I got 36 chambers and it was good but really profane. How profane is this guys? I don't mind moderate swearing.
1, 4, 5, 6 and 8 are all worthy contenders. I'd suggest getting all of them, just start with the first and work your way through.
I haven't heard 2, 3 or 7 so I can't comment on them.

I vote for Dummy.
Liquid Swords is one of the best albums ever, but im on a GZA kick right now.
rasputin speaks the truth
lol too profane
Choirs of the Eye is much better than Bath.
4 and 8 are both pretty badass
lol too profane
The best album here is Dummy.
1 is perfect, but so is 5. Get both of those.
Bath is an amazing record, but for your post rock kick, Choirs will blow you away. Still, Bath is great for "exemplary" Toby Driver. If you have the money, try to pick up Bath too.
I've never been huge on portishead. That Mono album is great, but there are albums here that are better. Sister is also awesome, so save that for the future. That Eno recordis great for studying, but not much else tbh. GZA is good if you like that kind of thing, but I don't really.
