PayneTiger777 04.12.09	I don't like any of those bands lol. Listen to some Muse, Radiohead, Dredg, Porcupine Tree, Hurt, Thrice, The Butterfly Effect, Deftones, Kamelot, and many more that I can't think of lol. These bands involve rock/hard rock/ progressive rock/metal.

Klekticist 04.13.09	pursue: radiohead, muse, more protest the hero, opeth, thrice, thursday, the fall of troy, glassjaw, isis, between the buried and me. not necassarily in tht order. u should get into technical stuff. essentially: there are three or four categories tht make u popular here death metal (lamb of God, the faceless, cynic) post-hardcore (thrice, thursday, the fall of troy, as cities burn) alternative/experimental (radiohead, muse, the decemberists) metalcore (architects, protest the hero, as i lay dying, underOATH, converge) if you can listen to the majority of tht, you should be on your way. take someone else's advice with death metal though. not my thing.
