Not Digging Sputnik's New Lay-out
Its hard to get used to. My bday was this past weekend so heres what I was jammin' |
1 | | DJ Shadow Preemptive Strike
Doesnt feel like an album and I know its a compilation but this album is great! I love this man's work wholeheartedly. |
2 | | The Mars Volta Frances The Mute
Went up to the P-Rec (for those that dont live in NJ, thats the Princeton Record Exchange), and this was 2 bux brand-new! It was a promo copy so it had the drill-hole in it, but thats not a complaint. I'm blown away by this band more and more with each listen. |
3 | | Talk Show Talk Show
Its STP with a different singer and thats exactly what it sounds like. I thought there would at least be some sort of growth but NOPE! Everybody Loves My Car is catchy, though. |
4 | | Sade Love Deluxe
Sade is my definition of a Woman. Shes beautiful, a fantastic singer, and a wonderful lyricist. |
5 | | Primus Sailing The Seas Of Cheese
Fucking downright classic! |
6 | | Alice In Chains Sap Ep
Got Me Wrong= The song that should have made AIC more popular than that bitch-ass Kurt Cobain and his band Nirvana. |
7 | | Rage Against The Machine The Battle Of Los Angeles
Another cd I picked up at the P-Rec. Had it before but my ex had it and then we broke up, and I aint talking to that monster. |
8 | | The Rapture Echoes
Surprised there aint more of a fan base on Sputnik for these cats. |
9 | | Opeth Still Life
Another album I got at the P-Rec. This time its the remastered jawn from 2008 with the hardcover case n stuff. Man this album sonically sounds incredible. |
10 | | Miles Davis Dark Magus
Cant have a list without sharing my love for Miles. Wrote a review on here for this sucker, and its the bomb for people that dont like Jazz so much. Its dark, mean, all things that got the motherfucker on Q's 50 Heaviest Albums of all time. |
