Original title didn't work (subtle reference to the third Naked Gun movie).
Second title was too long for the front page (getting cut off sucks... say no to circumcision!). Third title was probably too long as well. Hmm, turd rhymes with third.
|1|| ||The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards|
Spirit of the Glen
Bagpipes. I was hoping for original tracks, rather than sappy covers like "Amazing Grace" and "Sailing"... and holy awesome, they have Dragoon in their name! Methinks I'll incorporate dragoon into a black metal project.
...And Out Come the Wolves
I still can't get over the fact that this is pop music, despite the punk image. omgomgomg
Funny. Black and Gass are great musicians and comedians.
Benton's vocals aren't as hardcore here as his later stuff.
|5|| ||Erykah Badu|
Vocal wankery. Badu knows that she's a good singer and is abusing the fact!
|6||My Dying Bride |
Like Gods of the Sun
"Did that kid just call us emo?" Pretty nice, need to be in a blue mood to listen to this (otherwise, I get put into a blue mood).
Damned in Black
Schweet, have finally gotten through their entire discography. Methinks that Damned in Black sounds the musical predecessor of At the Heart of Winter. I don't dig it as much as that album.
Poor Demonaz =*( I kinda dig Abbath's guitar work better actually, I assume it's the root of their blend of black metal (combined with thrash, heavy metal, bla).
|9|| ||The Morningside|
The Wind, The Trees And The Shadows Of The Past
Needs more listens.
Veronika Decides To Die
Needs more listens.
Depressing vocals =( Needs more listens.
Rain Without End
Cool vocals. Love that fierce sound.
|13||My Chemical Romance|
Life on the Murder Scene
Borrowed this from the library. Thought it was 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'. They sound pretty bad live. Didn't bother with the DVD.
Hasn't done anything for me, besides the track "Good Vibrations".
Children of God
Needs more listens. Never been a fan of the Nick Cave-esque talking/singing.
|17||All That Remains|
The Fall of Ideals
|18||As I Lay Dying|
An Ocean Between Us
I've listened to this and the above quite a few times together, and so it's all a bit of blur. Or maybe they do sound alike. Alright though.
|19||Secret Chiefs 3|
First Grand Constitution and Bylaws
Well, it's kinda obvious who was behind the sound of Mr. Bungle... the guys who played the instruments! Digging the tunes, not digging the noises.
Needs more listens. Didn't rock my jocks on first listen.
