Bands With Bad Lyrics

*adjusts body armour*
1Tool

Maynard James Keenan writes really bad, obvious, pseudo-intellectual lyrics that sound like bad teenage poetry.
Here, he talks about how people compulsively watch violence on TV: "I need to watch things die/from a distance/vicariously/i live while the whole world dies/ you all need it too, don't lie/why can't we just admit it" WOW, that's just fuckin' INSIGHTFUL. Tool is full of these kind of dumb, obvious, trying-too-hard lyrics. One is enough.
2Metallica

OK, easy target. James Hetfield has been on a downward spiral as far as lyrics are concerned, but I couldn't pass up the chance.
"My LIFESTYLE, determines my DEATH-STYLE" that's good stuff. This proves that Hetfield is a lyrical genius to rival MJK.
"I feel my world shake/like an earthquake". Yep, that's observational lyric writing at its very best.
"Fran tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tock" *applauds*
3Red Hot Chili Peppers

You can always rely on Anthony Kiedis for horrible lyricism.
"three fingers in the honeycomb/you ring just like a xylophone/devoted to the chromosome"
"it's my favourite combination/comin' down with the flavoured nations/deep rotation, mutilation/learn to give and take dictation"
