Top 10 Of The Year So Far

Fuck off.
1 ExMortus
In Hatred's Flame

Guitar. Seriously. Awesome. Fimbulwinter. Epic Win.

Blah blah blah Motorhead are so dull blah blah blah I like pussy shit. Motorizer represents everything that Motorhead is, just like everything else they've done. Therefore, it fucking rules. "When the Eagle Screams" and "Runaround Man" are straight-up rocking tracks.
3Amon Amarth
Twilight of the Thunder God

It's Amon Amarth and it's good.
4Hail of Bullets
...Of Frost and War

Just fucking heavy.
Traced In Air

This is so weird to me, but so weird that I find it way too awesome for it's own good.
6Toxic Holocaust
An Overdose of Death

I used to think this band sucked. Why? I really don't know. I heard one song a longggg time ago and it didn't do anything for me. This, however, is fucking AWESOME. I can barely even describe how much fun I have listening to this album. "Gravelord" and "Wild Dogs"...mmm yes more please.
7 Alestorm
Captain Morgan's Revenge

I've come to the conclusion that this shit is stupid. Really stupid. It's fun though, which is why I still really enjoy it. But seriously, if they do this again it will be unbearable.
8Torture Squad

More deathrash? Mmm yes please. Not quite as good as Pandemonium, but still fucking awesome. "Living for the Kill" and "Twilight For All Mankind" are total headbangers.
Hammer Battalion

We Are the Nightmare

A big turn-around from their previous effort. "We Are the Nightmare" finds Arsis getting back to what they do best, with tracks such as the title track and "Servants to the Night" catching my ear more than often.
