Oh and Norma Jean - Wrongdoers
Riverside - Love, Fear, and the Time Machine.
Fucking BEAUTIFUL prog-rock album.
Seen Devil Sold His Soul live a couple of times, they were brilliant. Captured the fell of the albums really well.
Devin Townsend's Ocean Machine will always be my favourite metal album. Amazingly diverse, fun, technical and at times very moving.
Thought was gay shit, but now I dig.
cogent critical analysis itl
rly made me think
Nice list here man. Agree on 19 & 1 hard, and I would have different albums for 9 & 10 but yeah those bands nonetheless
And I don't know if it truly "blew me mind" but it was pretty significant at the time, Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Barely Breathing
Honestly Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast blew my mind when I first heard it, t/t especially.
yes, I consider this deathcore
"cogent critical analysis" Ah thanks man, yeah I'm very thorough in my descriptions...am I right
Death - TSOP
Doppelgänger- Fall of Troy
III by Spectral Lore.
Kind of a slowburner though, at first I just tought it was great, a couple of years later I think it's best shit ever.
'Doppelgänger- Fall of Troy'
Phantom On The Horizon dude, that album is fucking incredible
Loved Haunted Shores' release.
"Aquarius" and "The Mountain" by Haken blew my mind upon first listen.
"Dream in Static" by Earthside
There are more, but these are recent memory.
De-Loused in the Comatorium - The Mars Volta
Traced in Air - Cynic
Fragile - Yes
Catch 33 - Meshuggah
Great pick for #1, Always Open Mouth will always be one of my favorite albums. The "Fear Before" album was great too.
@Aerisavion Both are incredible but Doppleganger holds a special place in my heart considering it was my first mathcore album
Insomnium Above The Weeping World.
Doppleganger is amazing agreed.
A lot of Deathspell Omega stuff. Also ''Dedicated to Chaos'' by Queensryche blew me away in a bad way because I couldn't believe how bad it was.
Additionally...Dear Hunter - Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise
Dont usually listen to this sort of stuff but this was enlightening.
