Progday Discovery M1

In a genre that has gained notoriety for conceptual, often convoluted studio albums, it's nice to hear prog albums that go back to the basics: musicians playing music. Let's put aside all pretensions, crank that stereo to 11, and enter these sweet jams.
801 Live

"Live album by Phil Manzanera's supergroup. Very influential as an early influence in electronic music thanks to Eno's keys and with one of the best productions ever in a live album, it almost feels like a studio recording with a fresh sound and a unique personality. The youtube version is missing Golden Hours and Fat Lady of Limbourg (the latter being one of the high points of the album imo), so if you guys happen to find a complete version of it, go for it." - MrSirLordGentleman

2The Flock
Dinosaur Swamps

"Like it because it is kinda prog/country rock/jazz fusion all mixed for a cool flowing ALBUM, which is why I like most prog this especially because like the best Grateful Dead it meshes all forms of music seamlessly into a new form." - wham49
