Kanye Rest Wanked

Including Watch the Throne and Cruel Summer

Cruel Summer

Pretty decent, but obviously it has to be last because it's not really a Kanye album.
Favorite Tracks: Mercy I guess
8Kanye West
The Life of Pablo

Two of my favorite Ye tracks appear on this (No More Parties & Ultralight Beam) but holy shit this album is a goddamn mess. I actually come back to this album a lot just because of how messy it is.
Favorite Tracks: Ultralight Beam, Saint Pablo, No More Parties in LA, Frank's Track, Waves
7Jay-Z and Kanye West
Watch the Throne

Some great beats on this, fun samples, two great features from the GOAT Mr. Ocean, a solid collab album but not perfect. It kind of gets boring as hell in the middle and doesn't end well. It's mostly a pop rap album and while that doesn't bother me, I can see why it would from some expecting Ye and Jay to attempt to outrap each other on each track. Not that great but not terrible in any way imo.
Favorite Tracks: No Church in the Wild, Niggas in Paris, Made in America, Murder to Excellence
6Kanye West
Late Registration

Probably the most controversial ranking on the list, I know. But this just feels like a watered down volume 2 to The College Dropout. I really don't see what's so great about this album? I like a lot of the tracks but I don't feel like it warrants its running time and there's a lot of weaker tracks. Of course there are classic Ye tracks on this though, I just don't seem to love this as much as everyone else. And I know "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" is obviously a great track but once again that sample is irritating to me.
Favorite Tracks: Heard Em Say, Gold Digger, Roses, We Major, Hey Mama
5Kanye West
Graduation

What I originally perceived to be the weaker final part of a trilogy grew on me immensely. I think people who shit on this album shit on it too much but I think people who praise it a lot praise it too much. I don't think this album is a classic, but it's still a great album regardless. It is another one of Ye's albums that falls victim to the era it comes from, but there are choice cuts on here that are classic Ye. And I fucking hate that sample on "I Wonder".
Favorite Tracks: Big Brother, Everything I Am, Can't Tell Me Nothing, Flashing Lights, Homecoming
4Kanye West
808s and Heartbreak

Another favorite album, though I will admit this has not aged very well. It's very much a product of its time. Regardless, some of Ye's best appear on here and I think "Street Lights" is one of his most underrated tracks. Without this album, Depeche Mode or New Order wouldn't exist. I'm not one of those people who worships this album though, there are some serious moments of corniness (See You in My Nightmares)
Favorite Tracks: Paranoid, Street Lights, Love Lockdown, Welcome to Heartbreak, Say You Will
3Kanye West
Yeezus

This is where it gets controversial. I am not even going to try and pretend any of the lyrics on this are good (though some are admittedly pretty clever), but damn I just love the sound of this record. I really don't know what to say about this other than this list is completely subjective, I don't consider this a top 3 Ye record objectively of course. Just a personal favorite.
Favorite Tracks: I'm in It, Bound 2, New Slaves, Blood on the Leaves, Send It Up
2Kanye West
The College Dropout

God, this has to be one of the best debut records of all time. I mean, my god. What other debut is this long and has so little, if any, duds? I have so many fond memories with this record and there are so many good tracks on this that I think a lot of them get overshadowed by later songs by Ye.
Favorite Tracks: Spaceship, Never Let Me Down, Jesus Walks, Slow Jamz, Through the Wire
1Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

There is just not a single bad track on this album. It really encapsulates what Kanye had been doing on past efforts, only this time they're all combined to make his magnum opus. "Runaway" is obviously my favorite Kanye song, but it says A LOT that I could pick top 5 Kanye songs of all time from this album alone.
Favorite Tracks: Runaway, Lost in the World, Devil in a New Dress, Gorgeous, Monster, Dark Fantasy
