Top 10 Worst Albums I Own

Ten worst albums I own, ranked and with explanations.
10Paramore
After Laughter

A pity buy because of how much I love Paramore. Though to be fair, this is a very good album and has plenty of room for growth.
9Coldplay
A Head Full of Dreams

Bought this before I'd even heard it, but I probably would've bought it anyway. Easily the weakest Coldplay album and definitely grew off of me a bit, but still a solid release overall and I'm definitely not ashamed to own it.
8The Strokes
First Impressions of Earth

Really liked this two years ago and found it in a store the other day, not having listened to it since then. Didn't hold up very well to be sure. Still a good album, and definitely better than their first two.
7Avenged Sevenfold
Hail to the King

There are some absolute bangers off of this but there are some really low lows, still the highs are worth the buy in my opinion.
6Smashing Pumpkins
Zeitgeist

While it's far from the best Smashing Pumpkins release, it's one of the most listenable and fun to jam loudly on the highway.
5Smashing Pumpkins
Machina/The Machines of God

What can I say? I'm a completionist goddammit. And there are some great tracks regardless.
4Johnny Cash
At Folsom Prison

While it might not personally be my "kind of thing," I still appreciate the monumental achievement and passion that goes into this record, and while I may not spin it often, I'm proud to own it.
3The Velvet Underground
The Velvet Underground & Nico

The last album on this list I would personally consider "good," pretty generic 60s release aside from some risqué lyrics and the absolutely incredible "Heroin" and "Venus in Furs." It was a gift.
2Prince
1999

I don't get it, it don't click with me. Another gift.
1Jay-Z
The Blueprint²: The Gift & the Curse

My girlfriend accidentally got me the wrong Blueprint. Either way, I still enjoy this more than others.
