| AFI - Decemberunderground Ranked
Long overdue since it deleted last time I tried. | 17 | | AFI Decemberunderground
The View From Here - this like just came out, so I really just wanted to mention that it exists since I didn't want to rank it with Blood. I wish more work was put into it's conclusion since it's actually really cool/unique for the band and uses subtlety very well for the most part. It's one of Davey's favorites and although he definitely overhyped it, I can see why he likes it so much. Honestly, it was just super refreshing to hear a different song with Davey's pre Crash Love vocals. Check it out if you haven't | 16 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Ether - I listen to this like once a year maybe. Good song but nothing special. | 15 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Miss Murder - The song that really really made me an AFI fan and like damn is it average. Bridge is sick as hell though. Definitely god old but I still like it overall. There was a time when this was my favorite song ever which is insane | 14 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Fallen Like The Sky - I've always liked the tone of this song, I just feel it was a tad underdeveloped. Still a great listen though. | 13 | | AFI Decemberunderground
The Killing Lights - I feel like I listen to this the least out of every song on the main album but I've still heard it a shit ton of times. It's catchy | 12 | | AFI Decemberunderground
The Missing Frame - Song is definitely good, but that bridge is excellent | 11 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Kill Caustic - I mean the fact that this follows the abysmal Prelude 12/21 makes sitting through that weird ass intro worth it. | 10 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Kiss and Control - HOLD ME AND TELL ME WE'LL BURN LIKE STARS yeah | 9 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Love Like Winter - It's just so wintery, I love it. | 8 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Summer Shudder - Definitely wish this one was more popular than the popular songs on this album. | 7 | | AFI Decemberunderground
On The Arrow - Acoustic AFI is gorgeous and even a tad haunting | 6 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Carcinogen Crush - This is one of the catchiest songs this band has ever put out, I can't get enough of it. | 5 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Rabbits Are Roadkill on Route 37 - One of their best bonus tracks, and a very strong alt rock song at that. Could have been a wonderful single honestly. | 4 | | AFI Decemberunderground
37mm - Originally a Blaqk Audio song and I'm really not sure why it became AFI but it works for me, this is pretty intense sounding stuff and easily one of their most original tracks. | 3 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Endlessly, She Said - The feels in this song are too real. | 2 | | AFI Decemberunderground
The Interview - This track is beautiful and has some of my favorite lyrics on the album. I think it does the best job at depicting what exactly Decemberunderground is supposed to be (hence the album title being sung in the song at the end). | 1 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Affliction - This song just does not get enough attention, these are Davey's best screams and AFI's best screaming song as a whole. The bridge is beautiful, Hunter's bass line is perfect, and the second part of the song is actually chill as hell even though it doesn't really contribute to it being my fave on this album. | |

04.20.17 | Long overdue. Here's the actual closest we will ever get to Sing The Sorrow Part 2 since it essentially is Sing the Sorrow Part 2, ranked. I'm going to rank Crash Love, Burials, Blood, Intro Tracks, and the 3 Blaqk Audio albums soon. Gotta love being an AFI fanboy | artiswar
04.20.17 | Nice to see Affliction and The Interview getting some love. | GreyShadow
04.20.17 | Hell yeah man, I'm glad you feel that way. They are personally both in my top 10 favorite AFI songs. | Artuma
04.20.17 | this album was the last nail in afi's coffin rip | LightChaotic
04.20.17 | Endlessly She Said, Carcinogen Crush, Rabbits Are Roadkill on Route 37, The Missing Frame, The Interview, Fallen Like The Sky, Kiss and Control, The Killing Lights, 37mm, On The Arrow, Miss Murder(UK version), The View From Here, Affliction, Summer Shudder, Ether, Miss Murder, Love Like Winter, Kill Caustic
Best to worst for me. Love them all though. Only the last three are songs that I don't actively go back and listen to unless I'm listening to the whole album. | SirCumsalot
04.20.17 | I have never heard of this "AFI" band but I will definitely check them out per your recommendations. Thank you sir. | Masochist
04.20.17 | "Affliction" is definitely my favorite from that album, by far. Happy to see it at #1 | Feather
04.20.17 | I was an AFI fan boy for a longtime, but they have really grown off me overtime. Still a great band that holds a special place in my heart :-) | Feather
04.20.17 | he definitely overhyped it [2]
I was expecting something as phenomenal as This Time Imperfect or something and instead we get this okay song, such a shame | GreyShadow
04.20.17 | Yeah, I really wanted it to be This Time Imperfect good but I can live with it's existence.
And why is this 3.1 average album ranking worthy if a feature lol | onionbubs
04.20.17 | the interlude at the end of 1 is far and away my favorite thing on this | EvoHavok
04.21.17 | Back with these, huh? I feel some tracks here are too low, but others are right where they should be :). | NastyCrab
04.21.17 | Used to play the fuck out of this when it came out. That Miss Murder bridge still goes | GreyShadow
04.21.17 | Yeah, it sucks having to inevitably put things low on these rankings because then it comes off as me not liking the songs but I really do love all of these. Even Miss Murder (even if that one is more for symbolic/nostalgia reasons minus the bridge) | Hep Kat
04.22.17 | Posers | LightChaotic
04.22.17 | Carcinogen Crush is seriously fantastic. I feel like it could have been a huge single had it been on the album or even if they actually got to release that EP. | GreyShadow
04.22.17 | I completely agree, it would have been huge for them. | Feather
04.24.17 | They really should have released a b-sides ep, would have been just as good as their actual albums with all the amazing songs they've scrapped over the years | GreyShadow
04.26.17 | That would have been amazing. I'm really upset that they haven't had any b-side/bonus song releases since Crash Love (minus The View From Here which was more of a leak). They scrap a lot of songs and I'm sure there's plenty of those that would end up being better than what they actually put on the albums |
