I'm starting a series of concept poetry revolving a person going through the black death. I know this isn't quite the place for this but other sites like allpoetry are full of very amateurish and special snowflake types of people and I would really like some feedback on the beginning (Yeah there's a lot more to come, if you actually want to know more then message me on my shoutbox). List is cool story based albums. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NCtWgWRLPmj6wxRDhY8zUBfCl1asiOgMOzezgN2TClU/edit | 1 | | Amon Amarth Jomsviking | 2 | | Aquilus Griseus | 3 | | Be'lakor Vessels | 4 | | Opeth Still Life | 5 | | King Diamond Abigail | |

03.02.17 | Father,
Oh lord at moonlight behest
Illness the tendrils lay to infest
Menace precedes vitality in many ways
But still I wish you back again
Upon this spirited vessel we soar
From the mediterranean we come ashore
Ashen tides from way down yore
Chronicles life from times before
Posterity woe is me
How we fell like infantry
From dawn to dusk from dogmatic ways
We were consumed by darkest days
Upon this spirited vessel we soar
From the mediterranean we come ashore
Ashen tides from way down yore
Chronicles life from times before
What began as one bloomed into many
Death’s mark kissing our blessed trinity
God was cast down on that horrendous day
I’ll cast the first stone for as long as I may
The plague makes a convert of unyielding men
Lost in the haze of our great makers fen
Faith in the spirit was feeble and weak
Weakening the steadfast and consuming the meek
Father,
Oh lord at moonlight’s behest
Illness the tendrils lay to infest
The impulse of hatred burns at your stake
So in this plague we wish you partake | Dedes
