My Favorite 10 Paramore Songs
Paramore has been one of my favorite bands of the modern era, although they took a major hit when the Farro brothers left the band. Hoping their new album due out later this year will be a good one. |

Where the Lines Overlap
"No one is as lucky as us." -- Nice to see a band that actually appreciates a little success. This was one of the climaxes of "Brand New Eyes", which in large part was a make-up album between singer Hayley Williams and guitarist Josh Farrow. Unfortunately, the good feelings didn't last. |
9 | | Paramore Riot!
Born for This
A particularly catchy chorus -- "Everybody Sing like it's the last song you will ever sing". |
8 | | Paramore All We Know Is Falling
Emergency
My favorite song off of their first album. |
7 | | Paramore Riot!
When It Rains
A song written to a friend or lover who withdraws when the depression hits. ("You made your bed at the bottom of the blackest hole"). |
6 | | Paramore Riot!
That's What You Get
A classic song of love and regret. "That's what you get when you let your heart win." |
5 | | Paramore Riot!
Misery Business
This one is Hayley's tale of revenge on the girl who stole her man. This one is their biggest hit to date on the Billboard alt. rock chart. |
4 | | Paramore Riot!
We Are Broken
As someone who is active in the adoption community, this song means a lot for me. A child's plea for love and protection: "Keep me safe inside/Your arms like towers.Tower over me." |
3 | | Paramore Brand New Eyes
All I Wanted Was You
The last song on Brand new eyes, a song that starts off quietly enough, before letting Hayley Williams really show off her vocal chops. |
2 | | Paramore Riot!
Hallelujah
Not the Leonard Cohen song (although they do start this song with the intro of that one on their live album). Another song that showcases Hayley's voice. |

Brick By Boring Brick
A plea for living in the real world instead of trying to be a fairy tale princess. The way this one builds makes it one of their best (and most exciting) numbers. |
