Top 10 Meshuggah Songs

Jumping on the Meshuggah train, chug chug all the way!
1Meshuggah
Catch Thirtythree

Whole album - Because it's my list tough shit, their magnum opus by miles.
2Meshuggah
Koloss

Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion - Only track outside Catch 33 to match its level of atmosphere, but in a completely different way. While Catch goes through so many emotions and overwhelms you by the end with inhuman and monstrous guitar grooves, this is much more reserved with a slow guitar line ruling the sound along with slow, brooding grooves. It sounds so hollow and barren (especially when it's just the bass and drums) yet Jens roars over this with unmatched command with his delivery of certain phrases going so well with the how the song pans out.
3Meshuggah
Alive

Perpetual Black Second (Alive Version) - The album version was superb enough then this just kicked it to overdrive. Gigantic guitar tones with that faster energy the song provides gives this the perfect song to beat someone's face in.
4Meshuggah
Nothing (Re-release)

Nebulous - Holy fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk this song causes tremors strong enough to cause earthquakes.
5Meshuggah
Nothing (Re-release)

Straws Pulled at Random - Typical pick but damn the song. Best groove to dance too, as proved by Russians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba5HFp1rb20
6Meshuggah
Alive

The Mouth Licking What You've Bled (Alive Version) - Taking Chaosphere's best songs and adding their 8 string onslaught makes to a wonder to behold, especially that nuts solo. Was gonna put the studio version in but that neck breaking ending makes it just above.
7Meshuggah
obZen

Dancers To A Discordant System - I really do wish the rest of Obzen was this good, truly another level and arguably their most progressive song.
8Meshuggah
Nothing (Re-release)

Spasm - The slightly unhinged atmosphere in this and the awesome drumming make this a stand out in an already awesome album.
9Meshuggah
Destroy Erase Improve

Future Breed Machine (Live at Download Festival 2005) - If 3:12 onwards isn't the greatest shit ever then idk what is.
10Meshuggah
Alive

Pravus (Alive version) - Jens' greatest performance, absolutely vicious.
