Ooh, 10 seconds in and already intrigued. Getting Sonic Youth vibes. Thank you.
"4 is not formulaic tho my man."
It's literally a heavy crescendocore album. Not a bad one, by any means, but it doesn't exactly break structural moulds. |

09.30.16 | I'mma disagree on that one.
Anyways, here's the two I could think of off the top of my head
I/O - Saudade (post-rock, math rock)
Tanooki Suit - Euclid (post-hardcore)
A lot of bands charge a bit for their digital albums from what I've seen, was harder to find recs than I thought. |

Check out Harlots, whole discog is free on their bandcamp. |

09.30.16 | Cheers dude - just seen that the last track on that Tanooki Suit album is a massive Dark Souls tribute. Sold ;] |

09.30.16 | Cemeteries. Dreamy and dreary dream pop. Very very good if you dig that kind of stuff.

MarsKid
09.30.16 | They're most famous for that song, but the rest of the album is just as solid.
With Harlots, check Betrayer first and see if you like that. Each of their albums is different in some way, I think that one is the closest to TDEG. |

sorry for the long comment but here's all the NYP lists I've done plus all the ones I've got bookmarked. I know there's tons more on Sput that you can find if you do some digging, so this is only scratching the surface.
lots of crossover between some of the lists plus some stuff that's no longer NYP, I'm sure. |

Little emoviolence band from my area put out this 10 minute EP, it's pretty good. Nice short listen, too. Seeing 'em tomorrow. |

Check Serapis - s/t the best Metalcore album I've ever jammed, not a fan of the genre as a whole but that album rules so hard.
