| New King Crimson guys
Their live 2015 tour is now documented in a 3 CD-1 blu-ray set entitled Radical Action To Unseat The Hold Of Monkey Mind, featuring a killer setlist of 27 songs with 9 of the songs being compositions created by the most recent KC incarnation (i believe 201 are as far back as those tracks go) and Crimson-esque artwork to boot. After the disappointingly stale live album last year, this is a new, thrilling experience. Opening with Larks Tongue Pt 1, it thrusts you in and it's well paced throughout the entire 2 hours and 40 min experience. | 1 | | King Crimson Radical Action To Unseat The Hold Of Monkey Mind | 2 | | King Crimson The Great Deceiver

09.17.16 | Crimson is my favorite band, but I've still never been such a completist to want their live stuff. I have one box set that has more than enough useless live recordings for me. Still, I definitely want to hear the new material. | Frippertronics
09.17.16 | "new king crimson"
not misleading at all :/ | Veldin
09.17.16 | 30+ minutes of new material, mate. And yeah, they have way too many live albums that really don't differentiate themselves. The three in this list are my favorites and the only ones I'd say really actually matter. | Frippertronics
09.17.16 | I know they've been doing new instrumentals, but man they need to just make an album | Veldin
09.17.16 | Indeed. I'm sure it'll probably be 2017, but I guess we may never know. Five of the new compositions feature vocals and lyrics on this record. :D | altertide0
09.17.16 | i'd listen to it for the new material but almost 3 hours is a bit of an overkill, unless they really reworked the old songs - is that the case? | TVC15
09.17.16 | Ah props for adding Radical Action to the database, I was gonna do it as soon as I saw it being one of the highest rated albums this year on RYM. Need to check out their other live stuff too | Frippertronics
09.17.16 | Hit me up when they get a live album from this tour
best setlist yet tbh | Tunaboy45
09.17.16 | """"""""new"""""""" | Veldin
09.18.16 | I think they are reworked well enough to deserve this well made album. One thing I absolutely love about the old songs is the addition of the new saxophone , it works so well. The new vocalist is also quite enjoyable, bringing fresh life to decades old songs | Veldin
09.18.16 | Fripp, how different is the set list from this? This is from last year | Frippertronics
09.18.16 | They put Cirkus and "Dawn Song" into the set. "DS" is the intro to Lizard, with Jon Anderson. Fracture and "Heroes" are also in the set. OMRN was cut. | rabidfish
09.18.16 | cigarettes, ice cream, figurines
OF THE VIRGIN MARY
fuck yea! | Veldin
09.18.16 | Woah Fracture and Bowie's Heroes? Very cool. Circus is awesome too. | Frippertronics
09.18.16 | Yep, first time Fracture's been in the set since 1974, and the first time "Heroes" has been in the set since 2001. |
