Does Your Pie Chart Accurately Reflect Your Taste?

I just got done going through my ratings and deleting albums that I remember absolutely nothing about, and looking at how my pie chart has changed, I have to say that it doesn't at all accurately represent my musical taste. The list is what I think that my pie chart should be if it were to be an accurate representation of my taste. Leave your thoughts below on the subject of pie charts and how they represent your taste.

Wooden Heart

15% Post-hardcore
Post-hardcore has become one of my favorite genres recently. The genre is brimming with emotion, and I wouldn't hesitate to say that no other genre is able to evoke emotions quite as powerful as those evoked by post-hardcore.
2Astronauts
Hollow Ponds

20% Indie folk
I've always had a predilection for acoustic music. Even back when I used to be a major metalhead and would rarely listen to anything else, the acoustic sections of black metal songs never failed to entrance me and leave me amazed. Once I discovered that there are in fact genres besides metal that are worth listening to, I very quickly realized that indie folk satiated my desire for acoustic music.
3Hop Along
Get Disowned

15% Indie rock
Unlike the majority of the music that I listen to, I don't listen to indie rock for the purpose of feeling some kind of emotional condolence; more often than not, I listen to it because of it's warm atmosphere and the fact that it's fun and calming.
4Baptists
Bushcraft

10% Hardcore
I love hardcore for basically all the same reasons I love post-hardcore (unsurprisingly). However, when I listen to straight-up hardcore, it's more often than not when I'm angry. It's an incredibly cathartic and therapeutic experience to listen to hardcore when you're angry, and it's helped me through some tough times. For some reason though, I don't often attempt to expand my hardcore palette.
5The Ascent of Everest
How Lonely Sits the City

15% Post-rock
When I first heard Godspeed You! Black Emperor, I immediately fell in love with the gradual buildups which led to gigantic, explosive climaxes. To this day, post-rock buildups are some of my favorite moments in music. As is the case with hardcore, I really need more post-rock bands to listen to. I'll probably work on discovering new post-rock bands in the near future.
6Ochre
Like Dust of the Balance

5% Electronic
I haven't explored electronic music as much as I should've. Even though I wouldn't consider myself well-versed in the genre, I enjoy it a lot. Indie rock and electronic are both similar for me, in that I enjoy both genres for their (usually) upbeat atmosphere and feel-good vibe.
7Arnaut Pavle
Demo Tape MMXIII

10% Black metal
Ahh, black metal... Black metal is the only sub-genre of metal that I still regularly enjoy. There's something about the dark atmosphere and frostbitten, kvlt, impaled, satanic, anti-semitic vibe that captivates me unlike any other kind of metal is able to. I still regularly jam black metal during cold nights when I'm feeling extra satanic.
8The Dead Texan
The Dead Texan

10% Ambient
I have a very short attention span. This can often be annoying when it comes to music, as no matter how many times I tell myself I'll pay attention to whatever it is I'm listening to, I find myself enveloped by thoughts about some totally unrelated subject a few seconds later. Ambient music is great for this reason, because I don't have to pay close attention to it. Ambient is perfect background noise. If I'm trying to do homework or write or just relax, ambient is always my go-to genre. By no means am I saying that I never pay attention to ambient; a lot of the times, I'll listen to ambient when I'm out and about with headphones or when I'm not doing anything else besides listening. Even then, it immerses me in whatever atmosphere it's trying to create.
9The Republic of Wolves
His Old Branches

Oh, and also, I'm starting to get into alt rock, so please rec me some dark-sounding stuff like this ;)
