07.06.16 | it feels like whenever theres a green day thread up on the website, one of these lists is made
i dont even know where to begin with this one... |
onionbubs
07.06.16 | i just dont see how someone could think nimrod is weaker than uno. i get music is subjective but...how!?! care to explain?
also why you think warnings the worst green day album?
props for being a different ranking, as this may be the first person ive ever seen with this 1 and 2 (im not talking about this same 1 or this same 2, im saying both 1 and 2 as their 1 and 2), but cmon. some explanations for these picks would be very appreciated.

07.06.16 | this is the whackest green day list i have ever seen |
claygurnz
07.06.16 | Agreed hard with Clover lol |
LotusFlower
07.06.16 | i will agree stray heart was the best track on dos tho |
oisincoleman64
07.06.16 | Such a weird list |
claygurnz
07.06.16 | Damn I only just realised that you put Welcome to Paradise and Geek Stink Breath as the worst songs on their respective albums. Wtf. |
TheGreatQ
07.06.16 | All sorts of wrong but it is original so good on you for that I guess |
danielcardoso
07.06.16 | Welcome to Paradise and geek stink are amazing ahah, so are 2000 light years away and nice guys finish last. No way is any part of the trilogy better than 8 or 12, and fuck me 2 is absolutely fucking dogshit, bottom of the barrel.
3 > 5 = 4 , that's essential green day for ya. 1, 6, 8 and parts of 12 are great too. |
LotusFlower
07.06.16 | also misery is one of the best tracks on Warning wth? |
MadUnicorn007
07.06.16 | How is American idiot 6th? |
Drifter
07.06.16 | Personally, I think there's too many filler/uninteresting tracks on Nimrod |
Drifter
07.06.16 | @MadUnicorn007 I put American Idiot at 6 because "American Idiot" is my least favorite song from their discography and "Are We The Waiting" is in my Top 5 least favorite from them as well. I simply can't get over these and put it higher than 6. |
onionbubs
07.06.16 | okay then why is warning is your least favorite (i happen to think that nimrod contains the most interesting batch of green day songs but whatever) |
Drifter
07.06.16 | @onionbubs Warning is placed at 12 because I don't like half the tracks (Warning, Church On Sunday, Castaway, Misery, Hold On, Waiting.) I think Jackass, Deadbeat Holiday, and Minority are killer tracks though. The fact that these previously stated six songs are all in my ten least favorite from them, I can't forgive the rest of the album.
Nimrod produced some great songs like Hitchin' A Ride, Platypus, Jinx/Haushinka, Uptight, Take Back, and King For A Day, but others just aren't there for me |
onionbubs
07.06.16 | k fair enough. ya like what ya like. but what about uno dos and tre do you enjoy more? |
Drifter
07.06.16 | @onionbubs To put it simply, they're catchy. For the trilogy, I've only really listened to Uno as a whole a lot, but I listen to Stray Heart (demo) and X-Kid pretty often when it comes to Green Day. I don't even own Dos or Tre |
HinkHall
07.06.16 | Weird, "Rotting" is like my least favorite track off of Shenanigans, and "Do Da Da" is one of my favorites. |
onionbubs
07.06.16 | any green day fan whose heard the song has to admit that ha ha your dead is a fucking masterpiece that deserves way more attention than it got |
torts
07.06.16 | what is this |
Drifter
07.06.16 | @onionbubs Agreed completely |
HinkHall
07.06.16 | Yeah, "Ha Ha You're Dead" kicks ass. So does "Suffocate" and "Desensitized". |
onionbubs
07.06.16 | honestly shenanigans has a hell of a tracklist. would recommend it to any green day fan |
Stereochrome1
07.07.16 | 3, 5, 4, 8, 6, 1, 9, 12, 2, 7, 10, 11 |
Muisc4Life26
07.07.16 | oh okay |
danielcardoso
07.07.16 | I'm probably in the minority here when i say that 'holden caulfield' is the best green day song ever. |
