silentstar 06.18.16	echoing all the final fantasy recs since you like jrpgs - i thoroughly enjoyed X and XII, with X-2 having a pretty fun battle system but with a shitty plot that undoes everything in X however, i'd recommend getting the X/X-2 remaster since it looks great and waiting on XII until its remaster comes out next year other jrpg's to look out for: valkyrie profile silmeria, xenosaga, kingdom hearts, dragon quest VIII (if you're into classic jrpg's)

The Persona series has a very unique premise. Imagine this: your personality traits can be manifested in the form of monsters, monsters that can be upgraded, learn moves, level up and be fused together to create new monsters. Your monsters become more powerful and you become more powerful based on your own personality and your relationships with other people. So in order to become stronger you need to develop your personality, by joining clubs, going out, doing sidequests, making friends, and going on dates. The more you develop your relationship and bonds with others the stronger you get. The game is part dating sim part dungeon crawler essentially. The story is a murder mystery with a fairly unique plot, with some twists. If you however are looking for a much darker, mature and more difficult version then I would go for persona 3.
Funeralopolis 06.18.16	"what's psychonauts about?" Psychonauts is a platformer about a boy who runs away from the circus to join a camp for those to practice and hone their psychic powers. As the player you join the summer camp and quickly learn there are some dark secrets about the camp. In this game, psychonauts primarily use their powers to travel inside people's brains which are manifestations of their character traits. You can go in people's brains to figure out information, find dirt on them and to resolve their internal demons. The game has a very diverse set of levels, as each level is essentially a different camp member's brain. The game is very charming, unique, silly and whacky. The level design is phenomenal, colorful. You primarily fight using psychic powers you upgrade and unlock throughout the game. In one level you travel inside of a demented neighbourhood ruled by 'evil girl guides' who serve the 'the milk man'. The neighbourhood is flooded with secret agents wielding plungers, pretending to be normal civilians. TumsFestival 06.18.16	yeah just play Shadow of the Colossus seriously it's amazing. ICO is my favorite game of all time (and Radiohead's!!!) but play Shadow first.

Masochist 06.18.16	Check out Star Ocean 3: Till The End of Time. That's the best Star Ocean game in the series, and definitely one that any JRPG fan should check out. Great mix of Sci-Fi and High Fantasy, plus the battle system is comparable to the Tales series--real-time battling on a small 3-D field. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is another one I think you'd enjoy, if you haven't played it yet. I'll also [x] Onimusha 3.

Slex 06.18.16	Shadow of the Colossus is the best game on the PS2, and actually has great platforming in it. Also: RE 4, Okami, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Second Sight, San Andreas, Bully, and yeah the Prince of Persia games have phenomenal platforming in them. Glad to see the love that Jak 3, Going Commando, and Psychonauts are getting, 3 of my absolute favorite games!
Sinternet 06.18.16	Shadow of the Colossus is one of those games that's just so good that it's still expensive. I also second the fact that ps2 had a lot of great star wars games. I remember Bounty Hunter was one of my favourites. Clone Wars was really good too. Not sure how they would hold up today though.
