Powerful and anthemic melodies come from this shade of Baroness. "Morningtar kicks in with an amazing chorus and the song might be one of the band's best. "Chlorine and Wine", the first one to be released to the public, offers a gloomy atmosphere and a feel of strangeness. This sludge metal album brings catchiness and originality as key qualities.

Beach House's second release this year comes with a loving set of songs that depard from "Depresion Cherry"'s shoegaze vibes only to introduce more nostalgic and emotive compositions. "One Thing" is a strong piece with minimalist influence, while "Somewhere Tonight" sounds like it's Victoria Legrand's special cup of tea. This album is a wonderful surprise.
